Restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui

Ik ben de laatste tijd twee keer naar Tsui Yuen in New Town Plaza in Sha Tin geweest om dim sum te eten. De dim sum was niet slecht, en toen ik een aanbieding op Klook zag, kocht ik een coupon. Op 6 juni rond 10.30 uur arriveerde ik en het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Hoewel ik vroeg was, werd ik snel naar een tafel begeleid. Maar de dim sum van die dag viel erg tegen. Het gefrituurde eten was niet warm genoeg, alsof het al een tijdje had gestaan. De korst was droog en zacht, niet knapperig. De har gow en siu mai waren nog erger. Het leek wel op diepvries dim sum uit de supermarkt. De siu mai bevatte ook veel MSG. Ik vroeg me af of de dim sum van Klook misschien vooraf bereid was. Ik vroeg het aan de serveerster. Ze zei dat de keuken geen onderscheid maakt tussen Klook-klanten en gewone gasten, maar het was vreemd, de dim sum van die dag was niet zoals ik gewend was. Het personeel van het restaurant was echter zeer beleefd.

Dit was de eerste keer dat ik van dit menu genoot en ik was erg aangenaam verrast. De kwaliteit van het eten is hoog en de porties zijn enorm; het 5-persoonsmenu was meer dan genoeg. Het eten was erg lekker en het personeel was attent en beleefd. Het restaurant is erg groot, antiek ingericht en zeer rustig. De tafels zijn goed van elkaar gescheiden, wat zorgt voor veel privacy. De prijzen zijn zeer redelijk. Absoluut een aanrader om aan vrienden te vertellen, en ik overweg zeker om hier nog eens terug te komen.

Na de aanbeveling van een YouTuber wilde ik al heel lang naar Yamm voor het dinerbuffet. Klook bood korting, dus ik heb meteen gereserveerd. Al het eten was heerlijk. De abalone en vismaag waren mals en smaakvol. Ze hadden hier zelfs sint-jakobsschelpen, wat zeldzaam is bij sashimi. Er was ook een grote verscheidenheid aan koude gerechten, waaronder kreeft, broodkrab, krabpoten, scheermessen, kreeftenscharen, mosselen, groene mosselen, slakken, enzovoort. De wagyu claypot rijst, wagyu sukiyaki en geroosterd rundvlees waren allemaal erg lekker. De char siu was mager en sappig, en de pekingeend was ook heerlijk. Er waren gegrilde garnalenspiesjes, tempura en foie gras toast. De desserts waren gevarieerd, en je kon zelf rode bonen toevoegen aan de tofoe-pudding, die er goed uitzag en lekker smaakte. Er was een ruime keuze aan warme en koude dranken, waaronder sappen, zelf te maken koude en warme citroenthee, koffie, en een koffiezetapparaat voor diverse koffiesoorten. Het ijs was in bekers van Häagen-Dazs. Ik wilde veel gerechten nog een keer proeven, maar mijn maag zat vol. Ik heb al heel lang niet zo'n goed buffet gehad. Het restaurant had voldoende personeel, de borden werden snel afgeruimd, en elk voedselcounter had een eigen medewerker, zodat niemand meerdere counters hoefde te bedienen. Het eten werd snel aangevuld, dus je hoefde je geen zorgen te maken dat iets op zou zijn, en je kon rustig eten. Volle punten!

Exceptional service and amazing food! First, regarding the service, the staff are friendly, polite, and proactive in looking after our needs: the steak cutter remembered that I wanted mine sliced thin; the noodle chef voluntarily offered to make an extra bowl; and the floor staff frequently checked in on the needs of the elderly and children! The food is nothing short of flawless, made-to-order and served fresh, with both savory and sweet options: baked scallops, soft-shell crab, durian crepes, molten lava cake... and no need to wait in line or rush for anything. There are also premium delicacies: fish maw steak, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, grilled crab legs, Japanese fruit platter... Other than being an incredible value and absolutely delicious, I can't think of any other words to describe it!

Showing the reservation QR code allowed for a smooth meal service, and the staff quickly understood when we asked about the bill and guided us through it, letting us leave the restaurant right away. I went for lunch, and when I was thinking about having dandan noodles for dinner, I found them on the menu and they were surprisingly delicious. I recommend eating the xiao long bao while they are piping hot, right after they are served.

It's been a long time since I last had a buffet dinner at Park Hotel. Tonight, Saturday, July 11th, the place was completely packed! Although the food selection wasn't extensive, it was definitely worth the price, and the overall quality was quite good. They even replenished the bread crabs at 9 PM. The king crab was better than what you find at other hotels – not too salty and not dry 👍🏻. The ribeye was also excellent, and the sashimi and smoked salmon were great. Additionally, some of the made-to-order dishes required a short wait, but the queue moved quickly. The dessert and drink options were incredibly rich: various flavors of Movenpick and Häagen-Dazs ice cream were available, and coffee, tea, red, and white wine were all free-flowing. Many hotels can't offer this at this price point! Service: 5 stars There was a slight issue with our reservation and the hotel, which was later resolved by Manager Angus. We were extremely satisfied with the outcome 👍🏻. His enthusiastic and polite attitude is commendable 👍🏻😊. The rest of the front-line staff were also courteous and attentive. Overall, the experience was superb! Restaurant Environment: 5 stars. While not opulent, the seating was comfortable. Perhaps because we were seated further back, there weren't many people walking around 😊. In summary, highly recommended! 👍🏻

The restaurant was at full capacity, and the food selection was good. Staff were quick to clear dishes, and the chefs were enthusiastic and polite. Due to the limited space, although they managed to fit in a lot of food options, the tables were a bit small and close together. In the middle of the dining area, there was a birthday cake celebration for guests to take photos, and someone played the guitar and sang birthday songs to add to the atmosphere. After the photos, a bell rang, and everyone could line up to get a mixed fruit Napoleon birthday cake, which tasted quite good. The best dishes that evening were the grilled ox tongue skewers and the Thai cucumber and abalone dish, which each person received a plate of. Most of the time, the Royal Garden buffet is in an enclosed space with few window seats. I was so happy to get a window seat tonight, allowing me to watch the Victoria Harbour laser show at 8 PM.

This was my first time having a lunch buffet at this hotel restaurant. I booked through Klook and got a discount, which made it great value for money! The restaurant's ambiance was comfortable, and the staff were polite. I was celebrating a friend's birthday, and I called beforehand hoping to arrange a birthday dessert and a personalized birthday message. Although the restaurant said personalized messages were only available for dinner buffets, they still provided free candles and a birthday sign, which was a nice touch! The lunch buffet here offered freshly shucked New Zealand oysters, king crab legs, mussels, chilled shrimp, and conch, among other seafood, as well as sashimi. Except for the king crab legs, which weren't very fresh, all the other seafood and sashimi were fresh and delicious. While the selection of hot dishes wasn't extensive, they all tasted good. There were also plenty of dessert options, including Häagen-Dazs and waffles. I will definitely be coming back again.

This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!
