Things to do in Qixingtan

Had a wonderful day at Taroko Gorge with our guide, Lion! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and made the tour really enjoyable. We were lucky with the weather and got to see beautiful scenery and take lots of great photos. Thank you, Lion, for making the day so memorable! 😊

The experience was super great! The tour guide was very thorough in introducing and educating us about the marine life we encountered, and the staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic! Especially one woman wearing a white mask and seemingly glasses! She helped me a lot when I was watching dolphins at the bow of the boat. I regretted forgetting to thank her when we disembarked. I want to thank her here! The entire experience was so good that I would recommend it to friends and family!

Our guide on 15 Aug 2026 was amazing! Meeting point was clear, guide was understanding when we wanted to get breakfast before the tour. He brought us to places that weren’t even on the itinerary, making sure that we got full use of his time and service during the duration of the tour. There were no hidden charges in admission fees, he was happy to take pictures for us, advise on choices for lunch and snack locations. He was so sweet, funny and engaging too! Kept checking if all of us had understood his instructions on meetup times so that we won’t be lost. I’ve been on many Klook tours but this is the only one I’m really glad to have booked!! 10/10 would recommend and book again for sure :)

This trip was fantastic! Our tour guide, Mr. Xu, did an excellent job arranging everything for us, allowing us to fully experience the romance of the Pacific. We saw the crystal-clear waters of Qixingtan at its best in the morning, spotted dolphins during our boat trip, and the ocean color at Qingshui Cliff was truly mysterious and beautiful. He also shared some local insights, giving us a deeper understanding of the area. Thank you very much! ^_^♪

Thanks, Jack! We had a wonderful trip. Even though Taroko hasn’t fully reopened yet, it was still so majestic. Our experienced tour guide made the journey truly joyful. We’ll definitely be back once the rest of the park opens up!

We booked a pickup service, and the driver arrived early at the hotel to pick us up. Upon arrival, he guided us to collect our boat tickets and then to a small classroom for a briefing. After the briefing, we set off. On the boat, the guide continuously shared information and taught us methods to alleviate seasickness. Seeing the dolphins was truly breathtaking; we marveled at the wonders of nature. The dolphins swimming around the boat were incredibly impressive. The entire experience, from boarding to disembarking, lasted about 1.5 hours and was absolutely worthwhile.

We spent 2 hours on the boat and we saw dolphins! Before, we had a briefing about the different species (but as it was in chinese, we didn't understand, same for the instructions on the boat). The team tried to find the whales, but as many on the previous reviews, we didn't succeed. It's ok, we were happy to see dolphins! Also, the car was on time for pick up, everything was fluid.

our top experience in Hualien! don’t miss it I swear it will worth it! everything looks super clean, organized, aesthetic, the food is amazing, the host is super nice and her English is excellent. we had a lovely conversation about being native to Taiwan and we learned a lot about aboriginal culture. highly recommend! plus the cat and dogs are a big bonus if you like animals. seriously thank you it was great

An absolutely fantastic experience!!! 100 points!! The boat was very comfortable and clean! And my mom and I didn't get seasick! Others did, haha! Seeing the ocean was truly amazing! You definitely have to choose this boat; it's a great experience, and they even provide pickup and drop-off, which is very thoughtful. I was originally worried about getting sick, even though I wore anti-nausea acupressure patches, but I guess I forgot all about it because I was in such a good mood!!!! The dolphins were super cute and there were so many of them!!!! The color of the ocean was an unparalleled blue!!!
