Hualien｜Garden of Hope Workshop｜Handmade DIY｜Glass Beads

Amazing Experience! The women are so lovely, warm, kind, and patient. All the proceeds go directly to a charity organization helping local when and children. You will have the opportunity to make your own glass bread in a pattern of your choosing under the careful instruction of a teacher and translator (app assisted) if you do not speak Chinese. Then you will be able to weave your own souvenir. I highly recommend and it all goes towards a great cause!

The ladies at the Garden of Hope Foundation in Hualien were lovely and very accommodating of my lack of Chinese knowledge and made efforts to communicate with my through translating apps which was very appreciated. They took me through safety procedures, melting and forming glass beads and then stringing them together into a wristband based on traditional Taroko tribe techniques. I felt very cared for and despite the language barrier I had a great time. It was a worthwhile experience.

I was alone at pmaking beads and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome! they tried to speak English also and the beads and ( I made a) keychain are included. So nice to see how the women in Hualien are making and selling products!

I have never noticed this kind of activity in Hualien before. Li Xin Xin Gongfang is a charity group that allows us to experience making colored glaze beads by ourselves. It is very fun. The teachers are very patient in teaching us. The results are very cute and very interesting. Great👍👍👏👏

Very good experience. Don't worry about not doing it well for the first time. The teachers are very patient to help adjust. There are also many beautiful glass products for sale. It's a very happy experience.

The instructors at the Xin Workshop are very friendly and carefully guide and assist with every step. They help with firing the glass, so you can use the equipment with peace of mind. Glass bead bracelets are a local indigenous craft, and the workshop also has various finished products on display. This immersive activity experience was great, and if you're traveling to Hualien, it can be included in your itinerary.

The handicraft teacher is kind and professional. He explains in detail before starting and patiently answers questions during the demonstration, so that novices don't have to worry about making beautiful finished products.
