I'm just afraid I'll fall in love with you. I don't dare let myself get too close. I'm afraid I have nothing to give you. Loving you also requires great courage. I'm just afraid I'll fall in love with you. Maybe one day I won't be able to help myself. Missing you only makes me suffer. Falling in love with you is something I can't help but do.

I was very satisfied with my trip from Banqiao to Jiaoxi on the Kamalan Bus! The reservation process was simple and convenient, the seats were comfortable and spacious, and the driver drove smoothly and arrived on time. The vehicle was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was just right, making the entire journey very comfortable. The price was reasonable, making it easier and more environmentally friendly than driving myself. The customer service staff were friendly and patient in answering questions. Overall, it is a good choice for traveling between Taipei and Yilan. I will choose this service again for my next trip and recommend it to friends who need to travel between Taipei and Yilan!

Frank, our driver and semi–tour guide, made the entire experience genuinely enjoyable. He speaks English well and shared interesting insights along the way, which added a nice personal touch to the journey. We were traveling as a family with three seniors, and this tour turned out to be an excellent choice for us. The stops were mostly flat and easy to navigate, making them very senior-friendly. Frank was also incredibly attentive—he helped us in and out of the car and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. The vehicle itself was clean, air-conditioned, and stocked with complimentary water, which we really appreciated. The pacing of the tour was thoughtfully planned, with just the right distance between stops so our group could rest and recharge comfortably. Overall, the tour offered a wonderful mix of Taiwan’s coastal and mountain scenery, giving us a well-rounded experience. This tour was absolutely worth both the time and the money. Highly recommended.

After breakfast, we boarded a bus from a stop on the main street of Ximending. The ride was comfortable in the cool bus. We arrived at the Jiufen entrance bus stop in just under an hour. Since there are fewer shops open in the morning, there are also fewer tourists, allowing us to walk around and explore at a leisurely pace. Even though we went in the morning, a few souvenir shops and convenience stores were already open.

I have been to Jiufen previously and I knew how hectic it can be during peak hours. As I was bringing my grandmother this time, we wanted to make sure that we visit Jiufen before the crowd of tourists arrive. We got this private shuttle which picked us (4 pax) up at 8am and then arrived at Jiufen at ~9am. Yes, there weren't many shops that were opened yet, but it also meant that there were no tourists so we could explore Jiufen more easily. Luckily, A-Mei Teahouse was already opened, so it was nice to have tea and early lunch there. We left Jiufen at 12:30pm when the tourists start arriving. We got the same driver as well. Note that the driver will text you on both SMS and WhatsApp the night before the drive, so don't worry if you have not receive any text messages yet!

Super convenient and highly recommended! Redeeming the Klook QR code at the Taoyuan Airport counter was fast and hassle-free. The bus is comfortable, has great AC, USB charging ports, and space for heavy luggage. The ride to the last station best part is that showing your ticket stub gets you a shuttle bus straight to Ximending! It saved us from dragging our bags through the MRT. Great value for money.

We booked the 10 hour trip (9-seater car) and had Michael sha 佘安申 as our driver. We felt very safe and comfortable in his car throughout our trip. These were the locations we stopped by: Tiaoshi Coastal Bus Stop (Scenic Photo Stop), Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Waterfall, and Shifen Old Street (Shifen Station). Michael went above and beyond as our driver. From the very beginning, he was professional, punctual, and incredibly kind. He provided us insight about each of the destination stops and offered to take our family photos at each location. His car is also well maintained with water in case someone gets dehydrated. We would highly recommend Michael to anyone visiting Taiwan! cleanliness: 10/10 clean service: 10/10, very professional and polite

What to know before visiting New Taipei

A quick feel for New Taipei and its highlights

New Taipei draws most bookings for outdoor and cultural experiences: parks & gardens lead, followed by tours and cultural experiences, with spa and family-friendly options also popular. Demand peaks in April and falls sharply through late summer into August, so the city's rhythm swings between lively spring crowds and a much quieter late-summer stretch.

Best times to visit for price and crowd balance

According to Klook booking data, April is the busiest month while August is the quietest. Prices generally fall into two bands: they peak around July and drop to their lowest around August, so crowds and prices diverge slightly—April is busiest but not the priciest, while July is more expensive even though demand is moderate. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, plan for August or September; for peak-season atmosphere pick April.

Tips for travellers

Most visitors book just a few days ahead: typical lead time is about three days, though some travellers lock plans earlier. That means you can be flexible and still find activities on short notice, but consider confirming popular tours and cultural experiences a few weeks in advance if you travel in the busy spring period. Use Klook to check availability close to travel dates and secure the specific experiences you want.
