Reviews summaryGood value for money and pleasant experience soaking in Hotsprings, surrounded by nature. Many restaurant options are nearby after the hotsprings experience, including street food stores and scenic walking trails
I visited during the Lunar New Year and there weren't many people and it was sooooo nice!! The view was crazyㅠㅠ I'll never forget the jade-colored river I saw from inside the bath.. I was so entranced looking at the Wulai River from the open-air hot spring that I wanted to jump inㅎㅎ The water was so smooth that my skin felt so smooth in a short period of time!! I was worried because there were no pictures of the public hot springs,, but don't worry and just go! I totally recommend it👍👍👍👍
I tried the 2-person hot spring and the public bath. Personally, I recommend the public bath unless you are a couple. There is no time limit, and there are various baths including wet and dry saunas, open-air hot springs, and bubble beds, so I didn't realize how much time had passed. I bought a package that included dinner, and it was a great choice. The food was high-quality and delicious. My mother, who is picky about food, said it was delicious. Next time, I should stay at a hotel. I'm very satisfied.
commuted via metro and bus. make sure you have a power bank with you as in the bus there are no English characters, mostly locals but thankfully very helpful. open Google maps all the way! the experience was good, very relaxing. not allowed to bring phone in the public hot spring of course. was able to relax in the sleeping room with the view of nature. food was good! highly recommended
Definitely get the high tea with the spring bath, it’s super worth it! just check out the photos. A steal even. You can get there from Xiandiang Metro station then take bus 849. We booked the private bath and it’s very spacious. They provide bath towels, the shower is inside with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. there’s also complimentary water, snacks, other beverage. The rooms are facing the river and a beautiful mountain. We got there early but they allowed us to go in and stay the whole duration. The staff are very nice, definitely recommend the afternoon tea. it come with 9 different items and a pot of tea. This is a great bang for your buck and must try when in Taipei!
New Taipei Volando Wulai large public bath was the best! It was the best and most impressive part of my Taiwan travel itinerary. I have atopic dermatitis, so if there is a place with good water, I always add it to my itinerary. The large windows in the large public bath were open, so I was able to see and enjoy nature right in front of me. Especially the open-air bath was so... fresh. It felt like I was having fun. I was so sleepy that I enjoyed the large public bath for about 30 minutes and took a good nap for about an hour on the sofa bed in the lounge. When I arrived at the counter around 9:30 on Sunday morning, there weren't many people, but I came out around lunch time. The line was long. If you are planning to visit on the weekend, I strongly recommend that you go early in the morning. If I travel to Taiwan again, I will definitely come here again 👍👍
Highly recommend. Walked from Wulai terminal station after visiting Wulai Old Street. It was a 10 to 20-minute walk as I took a detour and crossed the nice-looking bridge. If you’re heading down from the same place, do note there ain’t footpath on some stretches. The public bath was larger than most other baths I’ve visited (not many). Amenities were clean and sufficient. The place seemed rather popular as there were about 10 people I crossed paths with during my time in the bath (1 to 2 hours). Despite the crowd, everyone was comfortably spaced out and almost no one was ever in the same bath as me? Also, do note they have two entrances, one for resort guests and one for the public bath guests. No biggies if you enter the wrong one as they were nice enough to lead me to the right reception!
Super easy to find your our way there ! Need to book in advance for the shuttle bus .. the timing are very accurate, we initially booked for lunch but we decided to change for dinner and hot spring time at 5pm.. we got to enjoyed the day and night view and even walk down to the 老街 and the scenery are worth the walk. After the hot spring session we felt so relax ! Dinner are good with 6 courses and 1 drink.. worth the money! As I saw the dinner was NT980 + 10% service charge per pax .. this package is definitely worth it! Note: The last trip for the shuttle bus is 6.15pm but if miss is alright they do have public bus to xin dian station every 20mins interval
It is good to go to the resort website in advance and reserve the shuttle bus and the desired time slot. There is a Starbucks when you arrive at the subway station, so you can spend time, and when you arrive, show Klook and they will guide you well. I went with my parents and everyone was satisfied, and I think the water quality is really good. The facility itself is not much different from Korean saunas, but it is a special experience, so I recommend it. The valley in front is also very nice.
The cleanliness of the bath, the selection of amenities, and the scent of the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are all excellent. If you use the large public bath, you can use it for 4 hours, so you can relax in the lounge while looking out at the outside. This time I had lunch, and the menu was very substantial. On the way back, I took the shuttle bus (50 yuan for a fee) and was able to get to the station without getting wet even in the heavy rain.
