Transport in Kobe

Since it was my first time in Osaka, I didn't do any research beforehand and got a bit lost trying to find my way. I also had a little trouble finding my tickets because I had paper tickets instead of QR codes. I scanned the QR code at the ticket machine, issued the tickets, selected my seats, and received two physical tickets. There's also a counter right next to it where you can get an Icoca card, so minors or those without Apple Pay can handle both at once. They'll issue an Icoca card for 2000 yen.

If you plan to explore the Northern Kansai region, this pass is a must-buy, as it covers all reserved seats without any additional charges. We used this single pass for our trips to Maizuru, Amanohashidate, Fukuchiyama, Yumura Onsen, Kinosaki Onsen, and Kobe before returning to Osaka! It's incredibly cost-effective for a two-day trip to Amanohashidate and the surrounding area! The Kansai–Hiroshima Pass is definitely worth it. It includes the sightseeing bus that lets you hop on and off at Hiroshima's major attractions, which saved me both time and money while exploring the city. I do feel that one day isn't enough to fully experience Hiroshima, as there are many more places worth visiting. The pass also offers excellent value because it can be used on JR lines to travel to other destinations within its coverage

This helped me a lot to go to all the places I've been to in Kansai area. Since I am new to how the train system works in Japan, I tend to get lost and with this pass I never have to worry about spending extra for transpo if I end up in the wrong station as this is unlimited.

1. Please confirm the applicable scope of the pass. Some attractions, such as the Miyajima ferry, require an additional tax. 2. If you have enough stamina, this is definitely an excellent choice for a San'in-Sanyo trip, as you can reserve seats an unlimited number of times (the machine can only reserve same-day seats and only 6 times). Therefore, it is recommended to plan your travel itinerary and have the service center staff assist you with booking all transportation for the current day and beyond, which will save a lot of time. 3. It is advisable to learn how to take local buses, as transportation in some Sanyo areas is not well-developed and requires a combination of luggage storage and buses. 4. If you have large luggage, be sure to store it or drop it off at your hotel first to avoid being refused boarding or delaying others. 5. Stamina is key to making the most of this pass. Perfect for travelers using the Sanyo Shinkansen. The pass covers the Sanyo Shinkansen between Shin-Osaka and Hakata. Please note: Kokura and Mojiko are already within the JR Shikoku area, and this pass cannot be used for trains below limited express. Price: Still 22,000 yen.

THIS PASS WAS REALLY WORTH IT. I saved a lot even if I only used it for 4 days around the Kyushu area, then bullet train to Osaka, and finally getting to Universal Studios Japan. Redemption was fairly easy. Redeemed from Hakata station and the line was not too long. Despite being almost near closing time, they still accommodated me, and even assisted in booking tickets in advance. I was able to reserve seats on Two Stars 4047, which was one of the best sightseeing trains I experienced. Planning to go back to Kyushu, and will definitely use this again!!

We bought the 7 days rail pass for Kansai Hokuriku area. When we arrive at Kansai Airport, we used this pass to take a train from osaka airport to fukui . Of course you have to change train a few times but it is manageable for us even though we had three big luggage. We also took shinkansen from Fukui to Toyama and shin osaka to okayama. If you travel s lot within these 7 days, this pass is for you.however, if for only one trip, it is not worth it..
