Transporte em Kobe

Since it was my first time in Osaka, I didn't do any preparation and got a little lost trying to find my way. I had some trouble finding my ticket because I brought a paper one instead of using a QR code. I scanned the QR code at the ticket machine, issued the ticket, selected my seats, and received two physical tickets. There's also a counter right next to it where you can get an Icoca card, so minors or those without Apple Pay can handle both at once. They'll issue an Icoca card for 2000 yen.

Totally worth it! Exchange at the station was smooth, and the pass paid for itself within the first couple of days. Traveling around Kansai, Kinosaki Onsen, Hemeiji, Kobe, Nara, Osaka, Kyoto, and Amanohashidate was super convenient and hassle-free. Highly recommended!

We used the Kansai Area Pass (3-Day) for our trip, and it was incredibly convenient and offered amazing value for money! The redemption process was super easy—we just took our e-voucher to the JR West ticket machines in front of Kyoto Station, scanned our passports, and the machine printed our main pass along with vouchers to exchange for Kyoto Subway and 2 other private railway day passes (which are awesome free bonuses included with this pass!). We fully utilized this pass over the 3 days with a fantastic itinerary: Day 1: Traveled around the beautiful Lake Biwa area. Day 2: Explored Kyoto using the complimentary private railway/subway passes, then took a limited express train to Shin-Osaka where we stayed. Day 3: Traveled out to Rokkomichi Station in Kobe to ride the Rokko Cable and enjoy the stunning night view of Kobe Bay (note: the cable car ticket itself is purchased separately). Finally, we used the pass to reserve seats on the Haruka to Kansai International Airport.

The Kansai–Hiroshima Pass is definitely worth it. It includes the sightseeing bus that lets you hop on and off at Hiroshima's major attractions, which saved me both time and money while exploring the city. I do feel that one day isn't enough to fully experience Hiroshima, as there are many more places worth visiting. The pass also offers excellent value because it can be used on JR lines to travel to other destinations within its coverage

On my return trip to Osaka, I once again purchased the Kansai Thru Pass 3-day ticket. This time, I visited Maiko Park in Kobe to see the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. I also spent a day each in Uji (a World Heritage site), Kyoto, and Nara. For the return journey from Nara, there are also limited express trains back to Nihonbashi or Namba Station.

I used a physical ticket for exchange, so I exchanged it at the West Japan Green Window at Hakata Station and also reserved seats for future Shinkansen and limited express trains, which was very convenient. Highly recommended. Fukuoka - Shin-Yamaguchi - Hiroshima - Onomichi - Okayama - Yonago. Please note that in Fukuoka, you can only take the Shinkansen from Fukuoka to Kokura and cannot transfer to Kyushu JR.

Perfect for travelers using the Sanyo Shinkansen. The pass covers the Sanyo Shinkansen between Shin-Osaka and Hakata. Please note: Kokura and Mojiko are already within the JR Shikoku area, and this pass cannot be used for trains below limited express. Price: Still 22,000 yen.

Este pase realmente valió la pena. Ahorré mucho, incluso si solo lo usé durante 4 días por la zona de Kyushu, luego el tren bala a Osaka y finalmente para llegar a Universal Studios Japan. Canjearlo fue bastante fácil. Lo canjeé en la estación de Hakata y la fila no era muy larga. We bought the 7-day rail pass for the Kansai-Hokuriku area. When we arrived at Kansai Airport, we used this pass to take a train from Osaka Airport to Fukui. Of course, you have to change trains a few times, but it was manageable for us even though we had three large pieces of luggage. We also took the Shinkansen from Fukui to Toyama and from Shin-Osaka to Okayama. If you travel a lot within these 7 days, this pass is for you. However, if it's only for one trip, it's not worth it.
