there are signs everywhere from the subway line to the herb garden. the garden is pleasant and well maintained. would recommend the roundtrip ropeway tickets if you like to spend time taking photos of the flowers and landscape. the ropeway brings you up to the top of the hill and you make your way down to the first station to take the ropeway back to the ground level.

Nice little tower. Good view and surprisingly clean windows. The revolving restaurant only has a very small selection, but it was enough for me. For me, it's a must-see if you're in Kobe.

i had a wonderful experience in this onsen, so relaxing and very convenient. However, i forgot my black wrist watch (Sophie Martin) in the locker that I used in no.2201. How can I claim it back? I went there awhile ago April 1,2026 (around 1pm). pls respond to me in my email at ardith.telewik01@gmail.com

This was truly an amazing experience! I highly recommend our dedicated tour guide, Nick. He was very friendly and came prepared with a book of picture cards, offering humorous and lively explanations that made the entire trip rich and diverse. Himeji Castle in August can only be described as scorching hot, but Nick thoughtfully provided salt candies to help us prevent heatstroke. He guided us through the entire castle, revealing its charming splendor and teaching us so much! At every attraction, he made sure to tell us about local characteristics and recommend local specialties. In just one day, I gained a deeper understanding and a more lasting impression of Osaka and Kobe! I hope to have the chance to join such a wonderful tour again. Everyone should definitely support Nick! :)

You can exchange your tickets right outside the station. Choose the 'A' package ticket, which includes the initial cable car ride, followed by the second section on the 'carletor' (a charming mountain train), and finally, the most thrilling single-person chairlift (though there's no seatbelt, it's very safe). After that, you can dine at the revolving restaurant. Be sure to go to the highest point to ride the sky bicycle (300 yen per person). It's absolutely worth it!

Before the activity, I suddenly realized I had left my phone in the taxi. The driver quickly asked a senior tour guide near the meeting point to help communicate and resolve the issue, and I successfully got my lost phone back. The one-day tour experience was great; it was arranged with a small van, so there weren't many people, and we gathered quickly. There was ample time at each attraction to explore and take photos.

We were able to enter Attoa immediately after showing the QR code ☺️. Booking through Klook was very easy. The facility was very enjoyable, even for adults. I would have been happier with a slightly larger discount on the price. For Port Tower, it's more cost-effective for those aged 65 and over, or residents of Kobe City celebrating their birthday month, to purchase tickets directly at the counter, as they receive a 50% discount.

This is the perefect itinerary for us because it starts at 11 am so we didn't have to wake up super ealry. It also allows us to explore the locations on our own with enough time without feeling rushed. Cave was an excellent guide! We were the only English-speaking tourist in the group but he made sure that we know everything that we needed, even if he had to repeat all that he said from Mandarin to English.

What to know before visiting Kobe

Quick snapshot of Kobe and what travellers book

Kobe is a compact city where parks & gardens, massages, outdoor activities and tours lead Klook bookings, with zoos and aquariums also popular. Demand on Klook swings through the year, with a clear spring peak and quieter pockets in late winter and late summer.

Best times to visit and how prices behave

Klook booking demand is highest in April and dips to its lowest in February; other busy months include June and July while August and October see softer demand. Prices on activities are typically highest in July and usually lowest in November according to Klook booking data; across the months prices fall after the July high and reach lower levels around November. If you want smaller crowds and lower prices, aim for February to March or November when demand and prices are both reduced; for peak-season atmosphere pick April, accepting slightly higher demand though prices may be lower than the July peak.

Tips for travellers from the United States planning a trip

Most travellers from the United States book about four days ahead on average, with some people booking much earlier and last-minute options available. If you prefer flexibility you can often decide a few days out, but during April and July it helps to plan and secure popular activities a couple of weeks in advance. Use Klook to compare available activity dates and times so you can lock in favourites while keeping the trip flexible.
