it’s a tough job. they made it seem so fun and easy joyful like a theme park. some customer are overweight and they had to pull them. salute. it’s safe but tiring. not for everyone. worth the price. lunch is delicious as well

Our guide, Dum, was incredibly thoughtful, meticulous, and patient. He explained every attraction in great detail. When he talked about elephants, it felt like being back in a university lecture – his explanations were so detailed and vivid, giving us a deeper understanding of elephants and local culture. During our interactions with the elephants, the guide proactively helped us take photos with them! He made sure no one left disappointed, haha. One of the children in our group seemed to have hurt their foot, and without a second thought, the guide immediately took off his own slippers to offer them to the child. 😂😂😂 He was truly so considerate. Finally, I highly recommend visiting the Sticky Waterfalls. The timing of our visit was perfect, so there weren't many people, and we had an absolute blast. The cool river water splashing down was incredibly refreshing. Just note that it closes at 4:30 PM, so plan your time well if you want to go multiple times. Overall, the itinerary was smooth, well-organized, and we were very well taken care of. We had a fantastic time! I will definitely recommend this tour to any friends visiting Chiang Mai in the future!

Consider it transportation, not a tour. The driver was on time, drove smoothly, and let us know when to meet back at the van. We loved checking out the Elephant Poo Paper Park (not smelly at all, haha) and the Sticky Waterfall was so cool! The waterfall closed at 4:30 PM, though, so we were rushed by the park rangers near the end. Overall, it was worth it to not worry about transportation.

I booked a 120-minute mixed massage and it was absolutely divine. I felt completely relaxed and pampered throughout. The place is clean and has a lovely atmosphere. You fill out a form with all your information and are swiftly taken for a foot wash, and then your massage. After the massage, you can enjoy tea and rice cakes before you're ready to tackle your day fully relaxed.

I booked the 2-hour scrub and oil massage course this time. The salon had a very oriental feel, and the tea during the consultation was delicious. The treatment was thorough and gentle, and I was very satisfied. My skin became moist and smooth, and the excess swelling was gone, which was wonderful. The tea and sweets I received afterward were very tasty, so I bought some to take home. I'm sure there are many salons in Chiang Mai, but I'm glad I chose this one.

I was very pleased to find this is a cooperative run primarily with the aim of rescuing elephants who are unwanted or unable to be looked after by their owners. The local Karen tribespeople benefit through employment and sales of items to tourists. The interactions with the elephants could not be better with feeding bathing and patting encouraged. The guides speak excellent English and are keen to answer questions and share information. I stayed in the jungle lodge after my first day and found the peace and quiet wonderful after the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. The next morning was spent with mahouts feeding elephants and then a walk through the reserve to a scenic waterfall before lunch in a roadside cafe. Another waterfall then back to another reserve for a final interaction with elephants before a bus ride back to Chiang Mai. Every tourist I met over the two days was enthusiastic and enjoying every new experience.

Our hotel was outside the Old Town area, but we booked this tour because it offered pickup over a wide range. We participated as a family of two adults and three children (ages 3, 8, and 11). We shared the ride with two other groups, but it was a smooth experience. The day before, we received a confirmation email letting us know which car would pick us up. The cooking portion was for two adults, and the children helped the adults cook or wandered around when they got bored, as there was a chicken coop and a large garden nearby. The children received a set meal that included drinks, a rice plate similar to fried rice, and a mango with sweet sticky rice plate. The two adult portions we cooked were quite substantial, and our family was full after sharing them with the children. Other group members also shared one adult portion between two people. The assistants received the same menu as our children, and the quantity seemed sufficient. We adults each wanted to cook our own dishes, so we requested that, but some people took turns cooking, which might be a good option for couples. The instructor was kind and very easy to understand, even showing consideration for our children. The venue was truly stress-free and allowed us to relax. The food was delicious, the environment was pleasant, and our family of five thoroughly enjoyed it.

I booked a Thai cooking experience class with Mamanoi, a Chinese morning session, starting at 9 AM and ending at 1:30 PM. The total duration was about four and a half hours. No special preparations are needed, but it's recommended to wear light clothing as the venue only has fans and no air conditioning. For those who attract mosquitoes easily, remember to take mosquito repellent measures. The main process is as follows: At 9 AM, the staff from Mama's Kitchen picked us up from the hotel. Around 9:30 AM, they took a group of us to the local market. There was a dedicated Chinese and English speaking teacher who explained various common Thai vegetables and spices. From pandan leaves to red and yellow curries, from the types and aromas of basil leaves to chilies of various spiciness levels. After the explanation, the teacher gave us fifteen minutes of free time to explore the market. After visiting the market, the staff drove us to “Mama's Kitchen,” where the Chinese and English classes were held separately. Teacher TAN first let us choose our main dishes. I chose the combination of “Pad Krapow + Green Curry + Tom Yum Goong.” You can choose three main dishes, two dishes and one soup. Thai milk tea and mango sticky rice do not need to be chosen; they are mandatory desserts. After the teacher recorded our choices, she took us on a tour of the farm. After our farm tour, the teacher went to prepare the ingredients for cooking. After everyone finished taking photos and returned to the classroom, the class officially began. First, we pounded curry paste and various spices, then chopped various side dishes. The preparation work for each dish was separate. After completing the preparation for one dish, the teacher gave everyone a small mesh cover to protect the prepared ingredients from flies. Once everything was ready, we started cooking. Cooking with an open flame is fast, but controlling the heat is quite challenging. Throughout the process, everyone was like a robot; we didn't have to think at all, just followed the teacher's instructions to complete the three dishes. However, this process was quite hectic, and I couldn't take any photos myself. If you want good photos, it's better to have a companion dedicated to taking pictures. After the meal, the teacher also guided us in making Thai milk tea and mango sticky rice. After the trip ended, the teacher asked everyone for their destinations. You could return to the hotel, or tell the teacher where you wanted to go, and the teacher would help arrange transportation to your desired location. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

Everything is great, there are many animals, and it's very safe during the tram ride to see all the animals. If you book through Klook, the ticket will include all the tiger show, cowboy show, and wild animal show.
