Excursão de um dia a Chiang Rai saindo de Chiang Mai

It was quite stunning to see the white temple in Chiang Rai. The blue temple was great too. The black museum has some adult contents hence if travelling with children, you need to be aware of it. Long drive of 3.5 hours to Chiang Rai and back is probably worth it!

We chose four places, and the Karen people didn't seem very happy 😞. Everyone can help them by buying some handicrafts. If you go further inside, there are many families, so you can spread out your spending! The White Temple is truly beautiful, very stunning and magnificent. The Blue Temple is also grand, and outside you can try butterfly pea flower ice cream. The Black House Museum is more ordinary, with many artifacts assembled by artists themselves! Please note that transportation is via shared car! So there will be quite a few people, and some attractions are attended by some people but not others. Those who don't participate might have to wait outside! Because we went in April, the people of Chiang Mai and Myanmar burn mountains, so the air might be bad, and the weather is very hot. If the car's air conditioning isn't strong enough, it will be very uncomfortable! The journey is long, with rest stops in between.

I was not expecting that I will have the chance to visit Northern Thailand’s boundary, Golden Triangle via boat, seeing Myanmar, Laos, mountains of Tibet from afar via the Mekong River. For me, this was the most amazing part of the tour! I’ve been to lots of temples but the White Temple so far is the most fabulous one. I love the blue coconut ice cream we had outside the Blue Temple. The Black Museum features different kinds of artwork inspired with black-colored artworks by the Chinese artist himself. The temple has a cool environment outside surrounded by trees and there’s a lake there too. Our lunch was bland or maybe that’s really how Northern Thai people prepare their food not to make it too salty so that foods served are still healthy. Overall, I enjoyed the whole tour It’s worth the money you paid for. Highly recommended!

If you don’t mind spending about 8 hours in the car for a 550 km round trip, this tour is totally worth it. I loved all the stops—Long Neck Village, the hot springs, White Temple, Blue Temple, Black House, and the Mekong boat trip to the Golden Triangle near the Laos–Myanmar–Thailand border. The driver was very professional and smooth, no honking or sudden braking. The price was reasonable for such a long journey. Big thanks to our guide Diamon, the driver, and the whole team. Highly recommend if you’re short on time.

Our tour guide was friendly and professional, and she shared a lot of informative historical background with us. We visited many places in just one day, which made it a long schedule, but it was a truly great and rewarding experience.

We visited many tourist spots in Chiang Rai - all of which were listed in the program/schedule. It was a fully packed tour. The long drive was worth it. The tour guide expertly planned the tour so we could experience all the tourist spots well.

1. Tour guide Ms. Pim's explanations were concise and to the point. She also utilized the time before arriving at each attraction to provide explanations in the car, which I found to be very good. 2. The journey was long, but the itinerary was appropriately segmented, allowing opportunities to get off and walk around and use the restroom at regular intervals. 3. This was a combined tour. Although my fellow travelers and I chose some different activities, the transportation was not delayed for too long. The Black House Museum's features are its architecture, furniture, and peculiar animal fur collections, while the Wonderland Cafe chosen by other group members is suitable for taking photos and checking in. Enjoying a cup of coffee at the end of a hot day's itinerary is also very comfortable, allowing everyone to choose what they like. 4. Some restrooms along the way had rather outdated facilities, so it's good to be mentally prepared for that. 5. Overall, I felt the itinerary offered good value for money. After returning to Chiang Mai city, the guide accommodated our request to be dropped off at the night market, which I also felt was an ideal arrangement.

This was a very exhausting tour yet informative and worth every money you spent. You just have to be lucky that all participants of this joiner are punctual and follow time schedule so you can enjoy all scenery and tourist spots covered. Suzy was our tour guide and she is very informative and engaging all throughout the tour. lunch buffet is also included in this tour.

It was a good trip for the whole day, the tour guide was able to explain everything and we understood each other. The Long Neck, Blue, White, and Black Houses were so amazing.

A wonderful experience! Beautiful temples, and our guide Earth was such a sweetheart. He was full of knowledge, and really made sure we were taken care of the whole day.
