Chiang Rai Passeios

We had a great time on our Chiang Rai day tour! 🩵 The trip was well-organized, enjoyable, and very informative. Our guide (Raine) was friendly and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the history and culture of each place we visited. The temples were beautiful, and everything was explained clearly without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a memorable experience and definitely worth it. Highly recommended! ✨

Our tour guide M was very kind and dedicated, switching between Chinese and English to cater to everyone in the group. Before the trip, pay attention to the travel agency's messages. They will email you again the day before departure to confirm the meeting time, which in my case was different from the time given at booking. The car arrived very punctually. 8:50 Chiang Rai Hot Spring: The foot bath was super hot, you could only dip your feet in briefly. 9:20 Long Neck Village: There's a cafe on a high spot next to the parking lot, offering distant views. The owner couldn't communicate much in English, so double-check your order. 11:30-12:40 White Temple (Wat Rong Khun): Amazingly beautiful, and the route design is very meaningful. No photos are allowed inside the main hall. 12:50 Lunch: Buffet style, with freshly scooped noodle soup, various Thai desserts, and sweet fruits. 13:50-14:30 Blue Temple (Wat Rong Seur Ten): You can take photos with the large Buddha statue at the Blue Temple. Outside the temple, there's a row of shops where you can buy souvenirs and snacks. 14:50-15:30 Black Temple (Baan Dam Museum): The private collection of an artist, with a unique style. 16:30-17:40 Golden Triangle Park (optional boat trip 300/person). We returned to Nimman Road at 22:00, an hour later than the scheduled 21:00. Luckily, I had snacks with me. The streetlights along the route were quite far apart. I recommend that those who get motion sickness take medication beforehand, as the mountain roads there are not very smooth. Although it ended very late, the tour guide remained energetic throughout, providing excellent service.

My mum and I really enjoyed the full-day White & Blue Temple Cultural Tour. It was a wonderful experience with good service and the guide explained the culture and history very well. We learned a lot and truly enjoyed the whole trip.

The tour unfortunately started a bit out of the way, which I found a bit of a shame. Otherwise, I am absolutely thrilled. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and explained a lot. He also answered questions promptly. He made a special effort to integrate everyone into the group and gave us tips and information. The temples were also breathtaking, and I don't regret doing it. To top it off, our tour guide also gave us mini pineapples.

The temple in Chiang Rai is absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide explained its history very well, which made the visit even more meaningful. We also had plenty of time to explore the temple grounds on our own. It was a wonderful experience and definitely worth visiting.

The tour guide was friendly and polite, fluent in both Mandarin and English. They provided detailed explanations of the history and background of the attractions. The driver drove smoothly and steadily. Friends traveling to Chiang Mai should definitely sign up for this activity to gain a deeper understanding of Northern Thai culture. The food quality was good, and most of our fellow travelers were from all over the world, so we all got along well. The best part was being able to admire the White Temple, Blue Temple, and the Long Neck Karen village. The villagers showcased traditional Northern Thai handicrafts, and the adorable smiles of the children in the village left a lasting impression on us.

I didn't realize the hike was through about 2 hours of dense jungle! It was a bit challenging, especially with the rainy season making the narrow paths very muddy and soft. Plus, the crazy mosquitoes attacked us through our clothing whenever we stopped moving. You definitely need proper hiking attire, shoes, strong legs, and a good sense of balance when doing this hike during the rainy season. Baht, our guide, was quite funny and very informative about the jungle flora and fauna. Perhaps it would have been good if he had provided a bit more support to the weaker hikers, especially during the more precarious parts of the trail, although the narrow paths made it difficult at times. Lunch at the village was better than expected. We were too exhausted to walk much more after lunch, and thankfully they adapted the tour to have a pickup truck send us nearer the waterfall and then at the rice/corn fields.

We had such an amazing long day discovering the Northern Territory - so much fun!!
