Where do I even start?! This tour was just magical, especially the White Temple. Our tour guide Joe really made sure we avoid the crowd and have the best time in White Temple. The Blue Temple and Black House is also worth the visit!

A 12-hour tour. The day before, you can call to ask what time the hotel pickup is to avoid waiting too long. During the trip, the tour guide provided detailed explanations and deliberately avoided crowds, though it was still very busy. The White Temple is quite spectacular, the Black Temple is vast and requires a brisk pace to see everything, and the Blue Temple is also very beautiful. We waited outside for the Long Neck Tribe village and didn't go in. Although the car ride was very long, it was well worth it!

The tour was good, with many people. The hot springs weren't worth it; there were too many people at a rundown spot. The other spots were good.

The pick-up and drop-off also takes some time. The hot springs are for people to use the restroom, and it costs 5 Thai Baht (it's more convenient if you have small change). The Long Neck Karen village (self-funded) is actually the Six Ethnic Villages on Google Maps. Lunch was eaten near the White Temple, a buffet-style meal with very homey Northern Thai dishes, just average. The White Temple is very beautiful, with a large area and many photo opportunities, but it's very crowded, and you have to queue just to enter the main temple. The Blue Temple is much smaller in comparison, and cars park next to it, making it a bit cramped. The museum next to it also charges an entrance fee. You need to take off your shoes to enter the main temples at both of these attractions, and it's recommended to use the restrooms at these two spots. The Black Temple is not actually a temple; it contains some artworks and animal specimens, covering a considerable area, and there are also many cats kept there. The rest stop on the way back had very tasty nuts. The driver drove fast enough, so we were able to return to Chiang Mai city earlier. We arrived back at Maya at 7 PM that day.

I recently went on a day trip from Chiang Mai that covered the White Temple, Blue Temple, Lalita Café, and the Long Neck Karen Village, and it was a truly enriching experience. Each destination had its unique charm and beauty. The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) was absolutely breathtaking with its intricate design and surreal white architecture. The Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) was equally mesmerizing, with its deep blue hues and golden accents creating a serene atmosphere. Lalita Café was a delightful stop, offering a perfect break with its picturesque setting and delicious food. Visiting the Long Neck Karen Village was a culturally insightful experience, giving a glimpse into the traditions and lifestyle of the community. What made the trip even more special was our guide, Job. He was incredibly sweet, approachable, and went out of his way to ensure everyone was comfortable and informed. His knowledge of each location and his friendly demeanor added so much value to the trip. Overall, the trip was well-organized and enjoyable, and Job’s guidance made it a truly memorable day. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty and culture of Northern Thailand!

The minivan took us to so many tourist spots, it was excellent value for money! The temples in Chiang Rai were also beautiful! When the tour guide arrived, they gave a brief explanation and then casually told us what time to meet back, which allowed for free time to explore, and that suited me perfectly.

A trip to Chiang Rai is a must. It offers a different experience from Chiang Mai. You will be amazed by the beauty of the White Temple and the Blue Temple.

It was good, but if you don't speak English or Chinese, you might have a bit of trouble understanding the guide's explanations. I speak both English and Chinese, so I had a fun time.
