Everything is great, there are many animals, and it's very safe during the tram ride to see all the animals. If you book through Klook, the ticket will include all the tiger show, cowboy show, and wild animal show.
It was so much fun, haha, highly recommended! Haha, to be able to touch a giraffe!! I never knew a giraffe's tongue was this long~ haha. The herbivore tram was more fun than the carnivore tram, haha. But it's not good to go too late at night~ you can't see well! It's better to go early and see it when it's bright, then leave!!! (But for those who don't have a hotel pick-up service, it might be better to buy a product that includes transportation!! When returning to the accommodation late at night, Grab wasn't available, and there were no songthaews, so I had to increase the Grab fare to get one~)
The zoo was quite large and offered many shows to watch. The main stars were the white tigers - Ava and Luna. The price is reasonable, including the tram. There are two tram routes available, and you can even feed the animals while on the tram. Although I'm not sure about the ethical treatment of the animals, I can see that the caretakers love them.
I think this is the best part of our Thailand trip. We enjoyed the close encounters with the animals, the safari and predator tram shuttle too. It's better to come at 2pm so you can maximize your time and have the chance to explore more and enjoy each part of the night safari. Some food stalls don't accept cash, so it's better to bring your card too.
Most reviews were from groups with children, so I wondered if it would be fun to go alone, but it was really fun!!!! If you're thinking about fun, it might be good to see it as a night safari, but I wanted to take pictures, so I stayed from around 3 PM until past 7 PM, and it was plenty fun even by myself. The safari animals were much closer than in Korea, and there were so many animals I'd never seen before that I lost track of time. I highly recommend it!!!! I used Bolt to get there, and since it was during Songkran, it took 5-10 minutes to get a ride, but it's definitely possible to go back and forth!!
I had plans from morning to evening, so I had no choice but to buy this pre-purchased ticket instead of a tour with transfers (as I wouldn't make the pickup time). I was worried about getting back, but even around 9 PM, there were many songthaews waiting at the songthaew stand, and I was able to get home immediately without waiting. (For reference, at that time, there were 6 passengers, and it cost about 60B per person to the One Nimman area.) I arrived at the Night Safari around 6:30 PM, and I was able to enter immediately by showing the app screen. I was very satisfied as I could quickly see the Wild Animal Show, Tiger Show, and both types of trams!
I had heard so many amazing things about Chiang Mai before, and I couldn’t resist visiting this enchanting old city in northern Thailand. Since this trip was meant to be a “slow-paced” break to enjoy some me-time, I didn’t prepare any specific to-do list. I spent two days here. So, what exactly did I do in Chiang Mai? I visited Wat Phra Singh, one of Chiang Mai’s most revered temples, known for its stunning Lanna (Northern Thailand) architecture and the sacred Phra Singh Buddha image. I also explored Baan Kang Wat, an artisan village featuring small studios, art galleries, and craft shops. To cap off the day, I experienced the Chiang Mai Night Safari, a unique wildlife park that offers visitors the chance to observe animals in a natural, nighttime environment. I also wandered through the Chiang Mai Night Market filled with local crafts, souvenirs, and street food. Of course, what’s travel without trying local cuisine and coffee? I visited two of the best local specialty coffee shops in Chiang Mai — Akha Ama Coffee and Roast8ry Lab. Both are renowned, award-winning artisan cafes celebrated for their high-quality coffee, sourced directly from local farmers. I enjoyed authentic Northern Thai cuisine at Huen Muan Jai, which means “happy home.” Set in a traditional Lanna house with a tree-lined garden, this wallet-friendly restaurant is recognized in the Michelin Guide Thailand for offering high-quality meals at reasonable prices. Chiang Mai is beautiful and peaceful.
