Things to do in Chiang Mai Province

We had an incredible time on our Elephant Tour, all thanks to our amazing guide, Dum! He is incredibly friendly, nice, and highly interactive. He kept us engaged and smiling throughout the entire tour.A huge bonus is that Dum speaks both fluent English and Chinese, making communication seamless and easy for everyone. Think of it as transport not tour. Driver was on time and drove smoothly and let us know when to meet back at the van. Loved checking out the Elephant Poo Paper Park (not smelly at all haha) and the Sticky Waterfall was so cool! The waterfall closed at 430 though so we were rushed by the park rangers near the end. Overall worth it to not worry about transportation.

Highly recommend this cooking class if you’re in chiang mai, the day started with a pickup and visit to the market where our very charismatic and hilarious leader, Nook, showed us all the ingredients and told us about how they are used. We were given some time to explore the market and were even invited to try some delicious thai snacks (We had coconut pancakes that were absolutely devine) - Next we were taken to the class where we were shown how to make all the classics, you get to choose between three choices for three courses and I chose coconut soup, massaman curry and krapoow which all turned out pretty great which is a sign of how good the class is because i’m not a great cook lol. The space is so cute too with a garden and turtles you can feed. Half day class was perfect and we even learned to make mango sticky rice and thai tea.

Thank you to the Thai teacher who speaks Chinese. The Thai cooking class I attended this time was a fantastic overall experience! The teacher was very friendly, and the steps were clear, making it easy to follow along even for someone who doesn't cook often. From learning about ingredients and spices to actually preparing the dishes, I felt very involved. The Thai food I made was more delicious than I expected, and being able to adjust the spice and sweet-and-sour levels to my own taste was truly rewarding. The class atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, making it perfect for couples, friends, or even solo travelers. It felt like more than just eating a meal; it was like truly bringing the taste of Thailand home. I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Chiang Mai—it's both fun and memorable! The cooking class felt more like stepping into real Thai life than just visiting tourist attractions.

Participated in the event on 1/26, and the staff leading us were Cityman and Wan, who were very professional and kind. They ensured safety before each departure, knew some Chinese, and were humorous, making it a great event experience. For lunch, we went to a beautiful restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. The driver who picked us up for the return trip had excellent driving skills and carefully confirmed our drop-off location. The entire team was outstanding. The go-kart slopes during the itinerary were very steep, which was a bit scary. People without driving experience should be careful.

I was very pleased to find this is a cooperative run primarily with the aim of rescuing elephants who are unwanted or unable to be looked after by their owners. The local Karen tribespeople benefit through employment and sales of items to tourists. The interactions with the elephants could not be better with feeding bathing and patting encouraged. The guides speak excellent English and are keen to answer questions and share information. I stayed in the jungle lodge after my first day and found the peace and quiet wonderful after the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. The next morning was spent with mahouts feeding elephants and then a walk through the reserve to a scenic waterfall before lunch in a roadside cafe. Another waterfall then back to another reserve for a final interaction with elephants before a bus ride back to Chiang Mai. Every tourist I met over the two days was enthusiastic and enjoying every new experience.

I booked 120 mixed massage and it was to die for. I was relaxed and felt pampered all the way. the place is clean and has nice atmosphere. you fill out a form with all the information and are taken swiftly to feet washing and then your massage. after the massage you can enjoy your tea and rice cakes before you are ready to tackle your day fully relaxed

I came across this place while shopping that day and thought the storefront looked small and cute, so I looked it up on Klook and booked a service. The masseuse's technique was very good, and the massage was very comfortable. The location is also convenient, with many shopping areas nearby. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to come!
