Excursão ao Chiang Mai Kerchor Elephant Eco Park (a partir de Chiang Mai)

Highly recommend this tour. We really enjoyed spending time with the elephant. We would like to highlight the ecopark to those who like to travel to Chiang Mai as 50% of the payment will be used for the elephants' food and maintenance.

Amazing experience! The elephants were clearly well cared for, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the animals. The guide was excellent, transportation was smooth, and the whole tour was well organized. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Chiang Mai! 🐘

Geweldige ervaring waar goed voor de olifanten wordt gezorgd, gemakkelijk vervoer van en naar het park en de gids gaf een zeer grondige uitleg. Veel interactie van dichtbij met de olifanten en elke persoon krijgt een emmer om te voeren, en lunch aan de rivier. Een absolute aanrader!

Definitely one of the best experiences we could have had in Thailand. Their transport picked us up at the hotel, not at the reservation. They lend you the top shirt. Our guide Ef was very good at all times and explained everything very well. We walked with the elephants, fed them, and bathed them, all in a very respectful and ethical way. They are very well cared for! Without a doubt, it's an experience we recommend 100%.

Itinerary: We will pick you up punctually at your hotel around 1 PM. The air-conditioned vehicle will take about 1 hour to reach the park. Upon arrival, you will be divided into two groups, one with a Chinese-speaking guide and one with an English-speaking guide. After sequentially placing your personal belongings into lockable lockers, you will change into traditional Karen blouses. First, the guide will explain elephant communication and demonstrate how to make herbal balls. Then, you can feed the elephants and interact with them for photos (you can ask the guide to help take group photos). Next, you will walk with the elephants through the jungle to the river, where you can help them with mud baths and washing. After finishing, you will return to the camp for a quick rinse and hot tea. Then, you will take the same vehicle to their café for snacks (fried rice, fried spring rolls, soup, and fruit). The café is located by the river and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Finally, you will be driven back to your Chiang Mai hotel. Guide: The entire activity was wonderful, the staff were very friendly, and the interaction with the elephants felt natural, without forcing them to do anything. Additionally, the park has a playful and adorable baby elephant named Ai Ai, who is less than three years old.

Tuvimos una experiencia absolutamente maravillosa en el Chiang Mai Kerchor Elephant Eco Park. Todo el recorrido estuvo bien organizado, fue educativo y verdaderamente memorable. Nuestro guía, Rocky, hizo el día aún más especial: fue increíblemente divertido, conocedor y cautivador durante toda la experiencia. Rocky compartió datos fascinantes sobre los elefantes y los esfuerzos de conservación del parque, y su sentido del humor mantuvo a todos sonriendo. Las interacciones con los elefantes fueron respetuosas y conmovedoras, y quedó claro que los animales están bien cuidados. Recomiendo encarecidamente este recorrido a cualquiera que visite Chiang Mai, ¡especialmente si tienen la suerte de tener a Rocky como guía!

Highly recommended this elephant experience tour. They will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the elephant sanctuary. The staff are very experienced, thoughtful, and well-organized. The elephants are well taken care of and fed. Everyone will have the chance to interact with the elephants, feed them, and walk with them after their meal. Afterwards, we had lunch, followed by river rafting and a waterfall trek.

Als Alleinreisender kann ich Ihnen diese Reiseagentur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Reiseleiter waren sehr hilfsbereit, informativ und freundlich. Besonders wenn Sie alleine reisen, helfen sie Ihnen, viele Fotos zu machen. Die Fahrer holen Sie ab und bringen Sie danach zurück zum Hotel. Ich war von 7 Uhr morgens bis mittags unterwegs, und es hat Spaß gemacht. Wir bekamen kostenlose Mahlzeiten und unbegrenzt heißen Tee oder Kaffee.

07:00 ~ 08:28 Arrived at the hotel on time. I was the first to be picked up, so it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to pick up others and arrive at the destination. 08:30 ~ 11:00 Changed clothes first and waited. We rode a Songthaew to the elephant sanctuary, and the road was quite rough. The guide kindly explained elephant language, and after making food, we even fed them directly. They continued to explain things while we walked to the bathing area (e.g., an elephant that stepped on a landmine in Myanmar, one whose tail was bitten by its father when it was young). Lighter children were even placed on the elephant's trunk for photos.ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Afterwards, we had water bathing, mud bathing, and warm tea and coffee were provided. The experience ended around 10:45, and we rode the Songthaew again. 11:00 ~ 11:30 Lunch was delicious!! They told us not to be shy and to eat more, so I really piled it on.☺️ 11:30 ~ 12:40 The air conditioning was on full blast, so the ride was comfortable, and they dropped us off right in front of the hotel. There were many young people traveling alone or in pairs, and also many families, so it wasn't overwhelming and was very pleasant (I went alone too). The actual elephants were warm, heavy, and had coarse hair. The staff were also friendly, took great photos, and I felt a sense of closeness as they played with the elephants. I highly recommend this tour!👍
