Trilha Natural Kew Mae Pan e Excursão de Dia Inteiro a Doi Inthanon em Chiang Mai

We enjoyed the overall trip. Although we experienced some unexpected waiting time that caused some delays, we finished a bit early as we were able to trek Kew Mae Pan nature trail faster and most of the members were cooperative in showing up on time for regrouping. Kanlaya, our tour guide, was very accommodating and informative. She was polite and patient with everyone, as well as energetic and fun to be with! She shared histories of the places we visited. We appreciate that she went beyond by showing us how the locals live and various plants that a typical foreigner has not seen before. We liked her sense of adventure, as we could see her passion for her work and her heart to help/support the locals. She ensured to get a good deal for us on purchases. She was eager to take pictures and videos for the group as well as nature. So blessed to have her and made a new friend. We highly recommend Ms. Kanlaya and her team.

A very enjoyable hike, and the guide was humorous and responsible. Chiang Mai at 7 AM still had a cool, misty air. The guide picked us up punctually at 7 AM. Our family of three embarked on a small hiking trip to Doi Inthanon. The entire vehicle was filled with friends from all over the world. We chatted softly along the way, like a gentle outdoor English corner. It felt unforced, not awkward, comfortable, and at ease. We took the K route. The mountain path was enveloped in greenery, and the air was so clean it made you want to take deep breaths. The guide was humorous and gentle, telling small stories about the mountains, forests, and local area as we walked. There were no stiff explanations, just the pleasure of slowly listening. All the group members were exceptionally friendly. As we walked, we started humming songs and chatting together. It was unfamiliar yet warm, the most precious little surprise of the trip. We stopped along the way at a quiet coffee village for a cup of mountain coffee. We ascended to see the vast views from the King and Queen Pagodas. Finally, we listened to the gurgling water at the Wachirathan Waterfall. Nature, culture, and scenery—everything was just right. Ten full hours of hiking. It wasn't tiring; instead, it was incredibly healing. Compared to independent travel, I prefer the pace of these small group tours. No need to rush the itinerary, no need to check routes. You can meet interesting people and hear different stories. It's reassuring, relaxing, and full of novelty. The mountains and wilderness of Chiang Mai truly hold so much gentleness. This day is worth remembering well 🌿

If you could only choose one day trip to go in Chiang Mai, go for this! Min was a really nice and caring tour guide, and we had a great time with him as he shared a lot of knowledge on Thailand and Chiang Mai. The pick up was at 7-7.30am, and we had a quick rest stop before going to Doi Inthanon National Park, and we were informed to get some snacks/food since we would be having late lunch. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Kew Mae Pan trail (2.8km), the view was fantastic. The hike was moderate, we took longer time to pause and enjoy the view (and we are a group of 12, with aged individuals). we also visited the very beautiful waterfall, twin pagoda and the local market (not pushy at all, get the sweet strawberries!)

Sehr pünktlich. Ich wurde genau um 7 Uhr morgens von meinem Hotel abgeholt. Der Reiseleiter ist sehr sachkundig und spricht auch gut Englisch. Der Höhepunkt unserer Tour war für mich der Kew Mae Pan Trail, da ich die Natur liebe. Und ich liebe das Wetter am Doi Inthanon.

The itinerary was fine, but the highlight was the trekking, which is not my favorite. However, overall the trip was good and the guide was very helpful. Taking photos is not the guide’s strength.

Our guide and the tour were both amazing. I had the best time. there was no rush. amazing spots and everything was planned very well. highly recommend this tour. Thanks a lot!

Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso en el sendero de Chiang Mai. La caminata en sí fue pintoresca y agradable, con muchas oportunidades para apreciar la naturaleza y disfrutar de las vistas. Los guías fueron amables y serviciales, haciendo que la experiencia fuera fluida y memorable. Consejos y sugerencias para futuros huéspedes: • Esté preparado para temperaturas variables. Sería útil que los huéspedes fueran informados con antelación sobre las condiciones meteorológicas estimadas y la ropa recomendada (capas ligeras, zapatos cómodos, sombreros, etc.). • El almuerzo gratuito proporcionado podría mejorarse. Aunque fue apreciado, un poco más de variedad u opciones más frescas harían la experiencia aún mejor. En general, esta fue una gran aventura y la recomendaríamos a otros que busquen una actividad al aire libre refrescante en Chiang Mai. Con algunas pequeñas mejoras, ¡podría ser verdaderamente excepcional!

The tour was packed from the beginning until the end. The Kew Mae Pan trail was moderate difficulty and packed with a lot of people due to Thai holiday. There was a native tribe guide in front and our tour guide at the end of our group to check on us. Pagodas visit was rushed but nice.
