Transport in Nara Prefecture

Since it was my first time in Osaka, I didn't do any research beforehand and got a bit lost trying to find my way. I also had a little trouble finding my tickets because I had paper tickets instead of QR codes. I scanned the QR code at the ticket machine, issued the tickets, selected my seats, and received two physical tickets. There's also a counter right next to it where you can get an Icoca card, so minors or those without Apple Pay can handle both at once. They'll issue an Icoca card for 2000 yen.

Kintetsu 5 days Pass was totally worth it as I was shifting places from Osaka to Kyoto to Nara then Osaka, this pass covered unlimited train ride gave me a wonderful experiences in Japan especially during spring season. I was abit worried coz of digital pass which is QR code (can’t keep screenshot to enter, QR will reload after 5 minutes) but as long as you got stable internet, it would be fine. please read the instructions carefully before buying so that you will be familiar with. In my case, I didn’t use the 5 days pass right away, at first I tried to use local train by using ICOCA once I landed in Osaka then used it for 2 days then got to know the train routes then I started using on my 3rd day. recommended 🫶

The Kansai–Hiroshima Pass is definitely worth it. It includes the sightseeing bus that lets you hop on and off at Hiroshima's major attractions, which saved me both time and money while exploring the city. I do feel that one day isn't enough to fully experience Hiroshima, as there are many more places worth visiting. The pass also offers excellent value because it can be used on JR lines to travel to other destinations within its coverage

This helped me a lot to go to all the places I've been to in Kansai area. Since I am new to how the train system works in Japan, I tend to get lost and with this pass I never have to worry about spending extra for transpo if I end up in the wrong station as this is unlimited.

1. Please confirm the applicable scope of the pass. Some attractions, such as the Miyajima ferry, require an additional tax. 2. If you have enough stamina, this is definitely an excellent choice for a San'in-Sanyo trip, as you can reserve seats an unlimited number of times (the machine can only reserve same-day seats and only 6 times). Therefore, it is recommended to plan your travel itinerary and have the service center staff assist you with booking all transportation for the current day and beyond, which will save a lot of time. 3. It is advisable to learn how to take local buses, as transportation in some Sanyo areas is not well-developed and requires a combination of luggage storage and buses. 4. If you have large luggage, be sure to store it or drop it off at your hotel first to avoid being refused boarding or delaying others. 5. Stamina is key to making the most of this pass. We bought the 7 days rail pass for Kansai Hokuriku area. When we arrive at Kansai Airport, we used this pass to take a train from osaka airport to fukui . Of course you have to change train a few times but it is manageable for us even though we had three big luggage. We also took shinkansen from Fukui to Toyama and shin osaka to okayama. If you travel s lot within these 7 days, this pass is for you.however, if for only one trip, it is not worth it..

This was the fastest transport for me to reach Osaka. There were staff making sure that you board the right train. Seat reservation is needed but it’s very easy to purchase.

I exchanged my physical voucher at Okayama Station, which was very convenient. Since there's no limit to the number of times you can reserve seats with this voucher, I almost always took reserved seats. Okayama - Yonago - Sakaiminato - Izumo - Tottori - Kobe. Highly recommended.
