Transport in Kyoto

Since it was my first time in Osaka, I didn't do any research beforehand and got a bit lost trying to find my way. I also had a little trouble finding my tickets because I had paper tickets instead of QR codes. I scanned the QR code at the ticket machine, issued the tickets, selected my seats, and received two physical tickets. There's also a counter right next to it where you can get an Icoca card, so minors or those without Apple Pay can handle both at once. They'll issue an Icoca card for 2000 yen.

So beautiful and absolutely a must if you’re stopping by. The biggest issue was that it’s almost too popular with many passengers that end up obstructing the view and taking away from what would be a very romantic atmosphere.

Reserved the Kansai Airport Limousine Bus to the Umeda/Osaka Station area via Klook and it made our arrival in Japan much easier. Instead of navigating multiple train transfers with luggage, we were able to head straight to the city comfortably after landing at Kansai International Airport. The boarding process was organized, and the staff efficiently handled passengers’ baggage. The bus itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making the journey relaxing after a tiring flight. Ticket redemption through the Klook app was also simple and convenient, with clear instructions provided beforehand. Travel time felt smooth and hassle-free all the way to Umeda.

If you plan to explore the Northern Kansai region, this pass is a must-buy, as it covers all reserved seats without any additional charges. We used this single pass for our trips to Maizuru, Amanohashidate, Fukuchiyama, Yumura Onsen, Kinosaki Onsen, and Kobe before returning to Osaka! It's incredibly cost-effective for a two-day trip to Amanohashidate and the surrounding area! Price: Excellent value for money Included Transportation Services: The two-day pass for Amanohashidate covers all train, boat, and cable car fares for a short period, allowing you to save time and fully experience Amanohashidate. Pass Coverage Area: Valid throughout Northern Kansai, though you might not be able to visit everything. Redemption Instructions: You can exchange your voucher and reserve seats directly at the JR station in Kansai Airport, where Chinese-speaking staff are available. Service begins at 5:30 AM! Seat Reservation Process: You can reserve your reserved seats later at JR station automatic ticket machines or by speaking with staff at the JR ticket counter.

"We used the Kansai Area Pass (3-Day) for our trip, and it was incredibly convenient and offered amazing value for money! This pass is ideal for traveling to Nara, offering free train and bus travel within the city. (1) This online pass should be activated on the day of travel, starting at Namba Station, and you should find the Kintetsu Line route. (2) To activate, click on the voucher and select "start using." (3) There is a train schedule; choose a Limited Express train to Kintetsu-Nara. This pass does not include advance seat reservations. (4) Upon reaching the destination station, exit via the East Exit and walk along Noborioji-cho Road towards Nara Park, or take a Nara Kotsu bus from in front of the station to the Todaiji Daibutsuden/Kasugataisha-mae stop. - I personally walked to see the deer park and Todaiji Temple on the way there, and took the bus back to the station. (5) You can visit Todaiji Temple (Great Buddha), but there is an admission fee for the interior of the temple. (6) This pass can also be used to ride the Cable Car to enjoy the atmosphere at the mountaintop, which has an amusement park. From Nara Station, take the train back to Ikoma Station. Upon exiting the station, turn left, and you will see a sign for the Cable Car. When you arrive, there will be a "Welcome" sign. You can show the QR code to the staff and take two cable car rides. Unfortunately, this pass cannot be used for amusement park rides, but it is still considered a good value.

The Kansai–Hiroshima Pass is definitely worth it. It includes the sightseeing bus that lets you hop on and off at Hiroshima's major attractions, which saved me both time and money while exploring the city. I do feel that one day isn't enough to fully experience Hiroshima, as there are many more places worth visiting. The pass also offers excellent value because it can be used on JR lines to travel to other destinations within its coverage

It's more economical to use this if you're going to Kyoto than buying individual tickets, so you can enjoy Osaka and Kyoto to your heart's content. If you're traveling in a group, it's better to check out one by one. If you check out together, it will be difficult to separate later since it can only be used on one device.

This time, I purchased the Kyoto City Subway & Bus One-Day Pass on Klook. On a weekday, I went to Shimogamo Shrine to enjoy its tranquility. The cherry blossoms in full bloom were beautiful, serene, and very pleasant.
