Klook offers the best prices. If you want to experience the charm of the Northern Kyushu region, I recommend taking the JR. I bought a three-day JR pass and visited Kokura, Mojiko, and Kumamoto. I highly recommend Kokura Castle; although it's a reconstructed castle, it offers many interactive activities for visitors. You can also try on kimonos for free and take photos, or experience horseback archery—it's definitely worth a visit. If you get off at Kokura, you must try the chicken udon noodles at the standing noodle shop on the Kitakyushu Station platform, which has a long history; it's very affordable and delicious! Mojiko is a beautiful harbor with a European flair, perfect for exploring various historic buildings and taking photos. Curry is a famous local dish there. Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan's three great castles, has several centuries of history and is a reconstructed castle with significant historical value. The castle's main color is black, and its appearance resembles a samurai, giving it a majestic presence. I suggest taking the tram to Kumamoto Castle to experience the local culture and daily life.

The Kansai–Hiroshima Pass is definitely worth it. It includes the sightseeing bus that lets you hop on and off at Hiroshima's major attractions, which saved me both time and money while exploring the city. I do feel that one day isn't enough to fully experience Hiroshima, as there are many more places worth visiting. The pass also offers excellent value because it can be used on JR lines to travel to other destinations within its coverage

Super convenient way to travel from Fukuoka airport to Hakata JR station, especially if you live nearby. No need for transfers compared to taking the subway. Just simply follow the usage instructions in the voucher. Bus is clean and has good lighting inside. Note that it may be hard to get seats depending on your arrival time. You will be dropped off near the JR Hakata Station Chikushi entrance/exit.

You can choose to redeem your tickets at Nishitetsu Tenjin Station or Nishitetsu Yakuin Station. Tickets can only be redeemed and used on the same day. Upon arrival at Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station, there used to be a free shuttle bus to the boarding area. However, when I visited in June, the shuttle bus required a fee (additional ticket purchase). If you prefer to walk, it takes about 5-8 minutes to reach the boarding area. Boats depart as soon as they are full. The boatman will describe the scenery and buildings along the way, and occasionally sing a few songs. Some boatmen provide commentary entirely in Japanese, while others mix Japanese and English. Whether you're going to Yanagawa or Dazaifu, there are often special sightseeing trains, the Tabibito and Suito, available at certain times. You'll need to check their official websites for schedules. Once you arrive at Dazaifu, you can use the Umegae Mochi exchange coupon on the far left of your ticket to redeem it at participating stores. Remember to ask the store before redeeming, as not all stores participate. If you don't plan to eat it immediately, you can also ask for it to go. The shopping street around Dazaifu is definitely worth exploring. If the Ichiran Ramen line is too long, you can head to Danbo Ramen, diagonally across from the station, to satisfy your craving. The Dazaifu Pudding across from the station has a very rich milky flavor, and the slightly bitter caramel perfectly balances the sweetness. Additionally, there are stores like Sumikko Gurashi and Ghibli, as well as the famous wooden Starbucks designed by Kengo Kuma, which is perfect for a quick photo and a refreshing summer drink. The shopping street typically closes between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Don't worry about missing a train back to Tenjin or Yakuin, as services are very frequent!

The single room is good for a rest for few hours.The oven only 2 to 3 working and the queue easily an hour too. From the ferry terminal to busan Station very close by, taxi few minutes reached hotel.

love the convenience with JR pass as it connects all the places of interest via Shinkansen. Maximized this! 1st day of use : Bus from Tenjin to Beppu(¥3,250); local bus ride worth ¥170 per ride around Beppu . Day 2: Roundtrip bus from Beppu to Yufuin ¥1,880; local bus ride around Beppu; Day 3: Bus from Beppu to Tenjin (¥3,250); local bus ride in Tenjin and Hakata (¥150/ride); RT bus from Tenjin to Tosu Outlet ( ¥1,540). To note: To activate on the day of 1st day of use and should be in front of the ticketing staff so they can print the ticket(bus ride from Tenjin to Beppu). Same with days 2 and 3 activate the day use in front of the ticket staff or bus driver, they check the date: Local rides in Beppu, Yufuin, Tenjin and Hakata no need for reservation just get a small ticket upon entering the bus. Bus rides for Rountrip Beppu- Tenjin and Tenjin to Tosu premium outlets needs reservation ( you can do it online or bus terminal ticket office)
