I booked a Kerama Islands snorkeling plus sea turtle swimming package via Klook, with Miegusuku Port as the meeting point. I self drove so I did not use the provided pick up service, and parking at the port is chargeable. Check in started around 8.20am.
Onboard, all equipment such as wetsuits, masks, fins, and life jackets were provided, along with a safety briefing and optional add ons like banana boat rides, jet ski activities, and GoPro rental. The boat reached the snorkeling site in about 20mins, where we entered the water in guided groups. After an initial session and a short break on the yacht with tea provided, participants split into different activity groups.
The sea turtle experience involved a short banana boat ride to a nearby spot, where staff first checked for turtles before we snorkelled in the area, followed by additional free snorkeling nearby. We returned to the yacht around 11.00am and arrived back at port at about 11.50am, with equipment cleaned on board.

The trip was wonderful: everything was quick, you don't even notice the heat, everyone was very polite, and the guides were simply amazing (they showed us everything, told us stories, helped with masks and fins, and even brought up starfish from the seabed). We felt like we were in the movie "The Little Mermaid."

The water clarity around the Kerama Islands is completely unbelievable. Getting to swim through the vibrant coral reefs and spotting marine life in their natural habitat was pure magic. I could stay in this water forever. ✨

Equipment: The large boat is stable, and all equipment is distributed on board. Simple freshwater rinsing is available on the boat (cleaning products cannot be used as the rinse water flows directly back into the sea). Coaches: For snorkeling, each small group will have about 10 people. Those who can swim can move around independently, but staying near the coach will result in more photos. For introductory diving, two people are assigned to one coach, who will constantly monitor and respond to both individuals' needs. Location: The Kerama Islands boast an abundance of coral, clownfish, sea cucumbers, sea turtles, and various other fish. Enjoy to your heart's content. Safety: Help is always available for any issues.

Captain Jun is extremely nice. Brought us out even though it’s just the two of us. We are beginners. Captain Jun guided and taught us how to fish. We caught quite a lot of fishes. Smaller fishes are being released back to the ocean.

the pick up and drop off service was easy. team were really nice and speak english very well. we visited 3islands and saw turtles and sea snakes. lunch was provided with a Bento box and showers and towels. really enjoyed this expireance and recommend it.

The experience was great! There were no issues with bad attitudes; the boat captain was very patient and easy to communicate with. After fishing, we found a nearby restaurant and paid the owner 2000 to prepare five of our fish into several dishes, which were absolutely delicious!

Diving with whale sharks. There were no Koreans, but Mr. Yamamoto, who speaks English, was incredibly kind and informative, so it was fine. We took a 5-minute boat ride to the diving spot and observed the whale sharks from outside the net. It felt a bit expensive, but when will I ever get to have an experience like this again? Thank you, Mr. Yamamoto! :)
