Churaumi Aquarium Highway Roundtrip Bus Tickets

Ticket collection is only available at the airport, and the counter closes at 5 PM, so please pay close attention to your airport arrival schedule! *How to find the collection point >1. After arriving on an international flight and collecting your luggage, follow the signs for domestic flights or Yui Rail (monorail) straight ahead (take the escalator up and go straight). 2. When you reach the Yui Rail (monorail) boarding gate, take the escalator next to it down to the 1st floor. 3. The collection point is opposite the information desk on the 1st floor.* / It took about 10 minutes to walk quickly to the location! I boarded at Naha Bus Terminal, and when I bought the ticket, I was told to take a numbered ticket when boarding the bus. However, when going to Churaumi, the bus didn't have a numbered ticket machine, so I didn't take one. I did take one when returning to Naha! (The information display had Korean service when I came! It seems to vary by bus.) Naha Terminal > Churaumi: Boarded the 6:55 AM bus, took about 2 hours and 10 minutes. Churaumi > Naha Terminal: Boarded the 3:37 PM bus, took 3 hours and 30 minutes. The return trip was very congested. The boarding point at Churaumi is on the opposite side of where you were dropped off, across the pedestrian bridge! If there are any Koreans considering this, I highly recommend using it! Even though I'm not good at Japanese or English, I had no problems using it! It's a very affordable and excellent ticket for independent travelers without a car who find packages too restrictive. I highly recommend it!😆

Very impt is to go airport to redeem tix physically n the store (Naha bus airport office which is beside famous PO onigiri shop) is open only 9am-5pm (very limited time frame). I forgt about it and have to go back to airport to get it. Luckily I have a yuirail pass or else the train tix is ¥300 for one way from makishi stn to airport. If u at the airport, go visit the tourist information counters, there will have some discounts to certain attractions eg. Churaumi aquarium tix can get at ¥1950! Not sure if the discount will stay or is subjected to changes. Try your luck! Be prepared the express bus ride is ard 2.5hrs. when u collect the physical bus tix, the lady will give u a bus schedule n is very accurate. I travel from Naha bus terminal to aquarium n is not wise to be late cos they leave on the dot! There is a famous Okinawa soba shop near to the bus station. The bus is express bus 117 located at Naha bus station counter 11. Not hard to find. There is a library just beside the Naha bus terminal. There is a toilet stop at Nago bus terminal (need 30mins more to aquarium)

Very good value shuttle bus return service despite long duration journey of 2.5-3 hours one way! Make sure you redeem your ticket voucher at Naha Bus office inside the Naha Domestic Terminal as soon as you clear immigration!

The journey lasts about two and a half hours, more or less depending on traffic. Plan to go to the toilet first because once on top of the vehicle you will have no way out except at your destination. For the return trip, just take the overpass and the affirmed one remains exactly below.. so even if it rains you will be protected.. the bus will mainly travel along the highway, so the view will be very little, only a little in the final part.

The normal fare from Naha Bus Terminal to Churaumi Aquarium is 2,770 yen one way, so I was able to get a round trip at a great price. The ticket is located on the first floor of the domestic terminal building at Naha Airport. I entered the domestic terminal building from the JAL side and looked for the "Naha Bus" booth, but I found it right away. I've included a photo for reference. The business hours are 9:00-18:00, so if it is outside business hours when you arrive in Okinawa, you will need to go to the Naha Bus booth at Naha Airport again. In this case, you can reduce costs by using a one-day pass for Yui Rail. When you actually use the bus ticket, be careful not to cut the ticket yourself. If you cut it off, it will be invalid. Be sure to take one "numbered ticket" before boarding the bus. When you get off, press the exit button and hand the numbered ticket and bus ticket to the bus attendant. When the bus attendant cuts off the bus ticket and returns the rest to you, you can get off. It takes 2 hours from Naha city to Churaumi Aquarium. There is no toilet on the bus, so go to the toilet before boarding. This bus ticket will save you money on travel, run on time, and get you to your destination while you sit and sleep.

It takes two and a half hours to go from the airport to Churaumi and the aquarium. The driver was very polite and took off first. However, there were motion sickness waves on the way~ I originally thought that taking bus 117 would see sea views along the way, but in fact when I went to Nago There is a sea view on the side~ But the round-trip ticket is worth about $300. There is a round-trip ticket for 2 people. It turns out that the return trip is valid for one week~ No need for the same day

The outer part of the first floor of Naha Airport is under renovation, so it is not accessible. I walked around before I found it. I had to go straight down from the domestic line to the window to change the counter. For those who take the bus for the first time, you may be very worried because it is an ordinary private bus (we thought it was a special bus). It was almost because there were too many people on the spot and they had to take separate buses. This episode was quite exciting. In addition, the journey was really long. Be sure to go to the toilet before getting on the bus. If you are prone to motion sickness, remember to take medicine first. I thought it would be fine on a flat road, but the interchange was so winding that some elderly people still got motion sickness. However, on the way back, the driver we met stopped at the terminal to rest for 5 minutes so that people on the bus could get off the bus to the toilet and get drinks, which was also very considerate. The overall experience was still good.
