Det här var första gången jag åt lunchbuffén här efter renoveringen, och vi firade en väns födelsedag. Matkvaliteten var mycket hög och det fanns ostron, snökrabba, sashimi, kokta räkor, snäckor med mera. Urvalet var inte jättestort, men färskhet är det som räknas mest. Tyvärr var det bara omkring hälften av platserna som var upptagna en lördag, och jag hoppas att rörelsen går bättre i framtiden. Dagens största överraskning var barpersonalen som tillagade specialdrycker på beställning åt gästerna. Förutom vanligt kaffe eller te kunde de även göra is-latte utan is och socker, eller kaffe-tonic. Alla vänner var jätteglada. Vi åt och pratade i lugn och ro från klockan 12 till halv tre på eftermiddagen. Ett utmärkt helgnöje, rekommenderas varmt!

The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel's buffet, "Steaming Hot All-You-Can-Eat Lobster, Unbeatable!" is the ultimate choice for a satisfying and abundant buffet. The food selection is rich and delicious, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes, and the buy-one-get-one-free price offers great value! However, because all the food options are incredibly tempting, even though I come here to enjoy the dinner buffet once or twice a month, I truly can't try everything! So, don't worry about the line for the "hot lobster" being longer than an army; many people, including myself, only eat half or one lobster. The reason is to save room for exploring all sorts of other delicious foods. You'll be surprised to find that soon "no one is queuing for lobster, because all the other delicacies are too good!" Also, the staff are polite and incredibly quick at clearing plates, true professional "plate-clearing specialists" – but they don't clear alien UFO "flying saucers." So, you definitely won't find any trace or information about the Hong Kong Marriott Hotel's "Pier Lounge & Bar" buffet's "generational plate-clearing specialists" in the recently declassified U.S. "UFO flying saucer files"! Haha!

Rekommenderar starkt The Astor Restaurant ✨ Den här gången kom jag speciellt till The Astor Restaurant för att njuta av lunchbuffén, och den övergripande upplevelsen kan bara beskrivas med fyra ord: "mycket nöjd". Oavsett om det gällde läget, servicen eller matkvaliteten, överträffade det helt mina förväntningar! Utmärkt och bekvämt läge 📍 Restaurangen ligger på Eaton HK, vilket är mycket bekvämt. Det tar inte lång tid att gå dit efter att ha tagit bussen eller tunnelbanan, vilket är extremt praktiskt. Restaurangens övergripande rymddesign är mycket speciell, med en nostalgisk och retro filmkänsla, samtidigt som den erbjuder modern och bekväm stil. Så fort man kliver in känner man sig avslappnad och glad. Oklanderlig personal service 💯 Jag vill särskilt berömma serviceattityden hos all frontpersonal den dagen! Från bordsplacering, tallriksröjning till kockarna vid de olika matdiskarna, alla var leende och artiga. Tallriksröjningen var mycket snabb och effektiv, så att inga tomma tallrikar samlades på bordet. De var också ständigt uppmärksamma på gästernas behov, vilket fick en att känna sig välkommen och omhändertagen. Mycket hög matkvalitet, skaldjur och mat 🦀 Det som imponerade mig mest var matens riklighet och kvalitet! Skaldjuren var mycket färska, och påfyllningen av kalla rätter som ostron och krabba var extremt snabb – jag såg aldrig en tom tallrik. Utbudet av varma rätter var varierat, oavsett om det var rostat nötkött, rostad lammstek, smaksatta tillagade rätter eller utsökta dim sum, var kryddningen perfekt. Man kunde känna att kockteamet hade lagt ner sin själ i det. Den avslutande dessertdelen var en perfekt avslutning, med ett stort urval av glass och olika utsökta små kakor, vars kvalitet inte alls stod efter en finare dessertbutik. Sammanfattningsvis: The Astor Restaurant visade en mycket hög standard när det gäller miljö, service och mat, och erbjöd ett utmärkt värde för pengarna. Detta är definitivt en matupplevelse som man vill återkomma till, och jag rekommenderar den starkt till alla vänner som söker god mat och utmärkt service!

This time, we booked the dinner buffet for a birthday celebration. The last time I visited was three years ago for the lunch buffet. While the variety of food isn't extensive, the quality is excellent. I'm grateful to the restaurant for arranging a window seat for us this time; the view was lovely. The evening atmosphere is much better than during the day. There weren't too many diners, and everyone was very orderly when getting food, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a quiet and comfortable environment. 👍🏻 A special mention goes to the attentive staff who constantly checked if any plates needed to be cleared. They even prepared a small cake and took photos of us with the night view from the window sill. 🙂 The theme of this buffet was Japanese cuisine, featuring dishes like sukiyaki and caviar wagyu sushi, which suited my current preference for lighter meals. Additionally, the ginseng chicken soup had a strong ginseng flavor without being too overpowering; I had three extra servings! The desserts were decent, and there was a good selection of homemade gelato flavors. One highlight was the unique baked goods; I even made my own mini pineapple bun. 🤭

I'd been wanting to try the dinner buffet at Yamm ever since I saw a YouTuber review it, so when I found a discount on Klook, I booked a table right away. All the food was delicious. The abalone and fish maw were tender and flavorful. They even had scallops for sashimi, which is quite rare. The cold appetizer selection was extensive, featuring lobster, bread crab, crab legs, razor clams, lobster claws, clams, mussels, snails, and more. The wagyu claypot rice, wagyu sukiyaki, and roast beef were all excellent. The char siu was lean yet juicy, and the Peking duck was also tasty. They offered grilled prawns, tempura, and foie gras toast. The dessert variety was impressive; you could even add red beans to your tofu pudding, which looked and tasted great. There was a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including juices, self-serve iced and hot lemon tea, coffee, and a coffee machine for various coffee drinks. The ice cream was individual cups of Häagen-Dazs. I wanted to go back for more of so many dishes, but my stomach was already full. I haven't had such a delicious buffet in a long time. The restaurant was well-staffed, plates were cleared quickly, and each food counter had dedicated personnel, so no one person was serving multiple counters. Food was refilled promptly, so there was no rush to grab items before they ran out, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Full marks!

Den 29 maj besökte vi Harbour Grand Kowloon i Whampoa för en riklig lunchbuffé (12:00-14:30). Priset var mycket prisvärt och maten var av hög kvalitet med ett brett utbud. Hotellets personal var mycket tillmötesgående. Vi har besökt dem flera gånger och har aldrig varit missnöjda. Vi bad om ett bord nära maten, vilket var bekvämt för oss två, varav en äldre person. Miljön var trevlig med stora fönster som släppte in mycket ljus, även om luftkonditioneringen var något otillräcklig, men det var inget större problem. När det gäller maten fanns det stekt nötkött, vilket jag älskar, samt lax sashimi, bläckfisk, färska pilgrimsmusslor och färska röda räkor – allt var fräscht och gott. Kakorna och desserterna var också tillfredsställande. Besticken var något otillräckliga ibland, men de fylldes snabbt på, förmodligen för att köket inte hann diska och byta ut dem tillräckligt snabbt. Sammantaget ger jag dem fem stjärnor och är mycket nöjd.

The restaurant was at full capacity, and the food selection was good. Staff were quick to clear dishes, and the chefs were enthusiastic and polite. Due to the limited space, although they managed to fit in a lot of food options, the tables were a bit small and close together. In the middle of the dining area, there was a birthday cake celebration for guests to take photos, and someone played the guitar and sang birthday songs to add to the atmosphere. After the photos, a bell rang, and everyone could line up to get a mixed fruit Napoleon birthday cake, which tasted quite good. The best dishes that evening were the grilled ox tongue skewers and the Thai cucumber and abalone dish, which each person received a plate of. Most of the time, the Royal Garden buffet is in an enclosed space with few window seats. I was so happy to get a window seat tonight, allowing me to watch the Victoria Harbour laser show at 8 PM.

I'd eaten at this buffet before and had a good impression, so when my friends and I made a quick return visit, it was still full of pleasant surprises. What appealed to me most was the freshly carved sirloin steak. It was rich in flavor, perfectly grilled, and incredibly satisfying with the gravy. The seafood section was also outstanding; the snow crab legs, chilled shrimp, and mussels were all fresh, sweet, and replenished quickly, so there was no need to worry. The sushi was also high-quality, with fresh sashimi and perfectly seasoned rice, making it impossible to stop at just one piece. Of course, the collaboration with On Kee this season, offering abalone, was an added bonus. But ultimately, this buffet's core offerings are already strong—sirloin, seafood, and sushi are all excellent, and the desserts and hot dishes are not to be overlooked. This quick visit only lasted two hours, and I was completely stuffed, but it was definitely worth the price. I've already made plans with my friends to come back again soon!

The buffet restaurant offers beautiful sea views and comfortable seating, with a reasonable variety of food. However, the hot soup dishes were disappointingly cold, not hot. The male staff member who cleared plates and served ice cream and desserts had an excellent attitude. A major drawback, though, was that precisely at 9:30 PM, when the buffet was scheduled to end, most of the chefs and staff collectively made loud, clanging metal kitchenware and cutlery noises that everyone in the restaurant could hear! This method of clearing metal utensils and rapidly removing food made it seem as if guests were not allowed to stay even one second longer! It was quite startling and embarrassing for customers, almost as if they were being rushed out. All the guests, including a foreign family of three who had arrived late and only had an hour to dine, quickly got up and left the restaurant with me and other patrons. In all my years of frequently enjoying buffets at various hotels in Hong Kong, I have never encountered a hotel restaurant where, precisely at closing time, most of the chefs would display displeasure and deliberately create loud metallic noises, subtly hinting for guests to leave quickly. This was a rare and unsettling experience! Adding to this unpleasant experience, there was a huge, terrifying painting at the restaurant entrance when I left. The painting had a dark, somber tone, depicting only two expressionless men and a child staring directly at you, with terrifying, bottomless black eyes and no whites. It was incredibly eerie and disturbing! No wonder I had previously seen comments from guests saying their seats were in front of this giant painting. I couldn't understand why such a terrifying and unsettling painting of men and a child would be displayed at the entrance of a five-star hotel's high-end restaurant. Seeing this horrifying painting as I left only deepened the unpleasantness of this buffet experience!
