This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel's buffet, "Steaming Hot All-You-Can-Eat Lobster, Unbeatable!" is the ultimate choice for a satisfying and abundant buffet. The food selection is rich and delicious, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes, and the buy-one-get-one-free price offers great value! However, because all the food options are incredibly tempting, even though I come here to enjoy the dinner buffet once or twice a month, I truly can't try everything! So, don't worry about the line for the "hot lobster" being longer than an army; many people, including myself, only eat half or one lobster. The reason is to save room for exploring all sorts of other delicious foods. You'll be surprised to find that soon "no one is queuing for lobster, because all the other delicacies are too good!" Also, the staff are polite and incredibly quick at clearing plates, true professional "plate-clearing specialists" – but they don't clear alien UFO "flying saucers." So, you definitely won't find any trace or information about the Hong Kong Marriott Hotel's "Pier Lounge & Bar" buffet's "generational plate-clearing specialists" in the recently declassified U.S. "UFO flying saucer files"! Haha!

Impeccable Staff Service 💯 I especially want to commend the service attitude of all the front-line staff that day! From the hosts seating guests, to the plate clearers, and the chefs at each food station, everyone was smiling, polite, and attentive. Plates were cleared very quickly and efficiently, never allowing empty dishes to pile up on the table. They were constantly attentive to guests' needs, making everyone feel truly welcome and well-cared for. Exceptionally High-Quality Seafood & Food 🦀 What impressed me most was the abundance and quality of the food! The seafood was incredibly fresh, and cold dishes like oysters and bread crabs were replenished extremely quickly; I never saw an empty platter. The hot food selection was diverse, and whether it was roasted beef, roasted lamb leg, flavorful cooked dishes, or delicate dim sum, the seasoning was perfect. You could really feel the dedication of the culinary team. The dessert section was the perfect ending, with a wide selection of ice cream and various exquisite mini cakes, all of which were on par with high-end dessert shops. In summary: The Astor demonstrates exceptionally high standards in terms of ambiance, service, and food, offering excellent value for money. This is definitely a dining experience that makes you want to return again. I highly recommend it to all friends who appreciate great food and excellent service!

We book early we able to get a window set, it was amazing view and comfortable..The food was great.It was fun experience eating lunch buffet with my friends here..The service is excellent. They are polite. It's rare to find such attentiveness these days, except in a very expensive restaurants.

This time, we booked the dinner buffet for a birthday celebration. The last time I visited was three years ago for the lunch buffet. While the variety of food isn't extensive, the quality is excellent. I'm grateful to the restaurant for arranging a window seat for us this time; the view was lovely. The evening atmosphere is much better than during the day. There weren't too many diners, and everyone was very orderly when getting food, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a quiet and comfortable environment. 👍🏻 A special mention goes to the attentive staff who constantly checked if any plates needed to be cleared. They even prepared a small cake and took photos of us with the night view from the window sill. 🙂 The theme of this buffet was Japanese cuisine, featuring dishes like sukiyaki and caviar wagyu sushi, which suited my current preference for lighter meals. Additionally, the ginseng chicken soup had a strong ginseng flavor without being too overpowering; I had three extra servings! The desserts were decent, and there was a good selection of homemade gelato flavors. One highlight was the unique baked goods; I even made my own mini pineapple bun. 🤭

আগে ইউটিউবারদের রিভিউ দেখে ইয়াম-এর বুফে ডিনার খেতে খুব ইচ্ছা করছিল। ক্লুকে ডিসকাউন্ট থাকায় সাথে সাথেই বুক করে ফেললাম। সব খাবারই খুব সুস্বাদু ছিল। অ্যাবালোন এবং ফিশ মও নরম ও সুস্বাদু ছিল। সাশিমির মধ্যে স্ক্যালপও ছিল, যা সাধারণত খুব কম দেখা যায়। ঠান্ডা খাবারের আইটেমও অনেক ছিল, যেমন লবস্টার, ব্রেড ক্র্যাব, ক্র্যাব লেগস, রেজার ক্ল্যামস, লবস্টার ক্লজ, ক্ল্যামস, গ্রিন মাসেলস, স্নেইলস ইত্যাদি। ওয়াগিউ ক্লে পট রাইস, ওয়াগিউ সুকিয়াকি, রোস্ট বিফ—সবই খুব ভালো ছিল। চার সিউ চর্বিহীন এবং রসালো ছিল, আর পেকিং ডাকও সুস্বাদু ছিল। গ্রিলড প্রন স্কিউয়ার্স, টেম্পুরা এবং ফোয়া গ্রাস টোস্টও ছিল। ডেজার্টের অনেক রকমফের ছিল, তৌফু ফ্লাওয়ার সাথে নিজের পছন্দমতো রেড বিন যোগ করা যেত, দেখতেও সুন্দর এবং খেতেও ভালো। ঠান্ডা ও গরম পানীয়ের অনেক রকমফের ছিল, যার মধ্যে জুস, নিজের হাতে তৈরি ঠান্ডা ও গরম লেবু চা, কফি এবং বিভিন্ন ধরনের কফির জন্য একটি কফি মেশিনও ছিল। আইসক্রিম ছিল কাপে ভরা হ্যাগেন-ডাজ। অনেক খাবারই আবার খেতে ইচ্ছা করছিল, কিন্তু পেটের জায়গা শেষ হয়ে গিয়েছিল। অনেক দিন পর এত ভালো বুফে খেলাম। রেস্টুরেন্টে পর্যাপ্ত কর্মী ছিল, প্লেট দ্রুত সরিয়ে নেওয়া হচ্ছিল, প্রতিটি ফুড কাউন্টারে একজন করে দায়িত্বে ছিল, একজন একাধিক কাউন্টার সামলাচ্ছিল না। খাবার দ্রুত রিফিল করা হচ্ছিল, তাই দ্রুত শেষ হয়ে যাওয়ার ভয় ছিল না, আরাম করে খাওয়া গেছে। ফুল মার্কস!

On May 29th, we visited the Kowloon Whampoa Harbour Grand Hotel to enjoy a lavish buffet lunch (12:00 PM - 2:30 PM). The price was reasonable and offered excellent value for money. There was a wide variety of food, and the quality and taste were guaranteed to be delicious. The hotel staff and servers provided excellent service. We've dined here many times and have never been dissatisfied. Our table was conveniently located near the food, which was perfect as one of our party was an elderly person who requested easy access to the buffet. The environment was pleasant with bright natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, though the air conditioning was slightly insufficient, which wasn't a major issue. Regarding the food, there was roast beef, which is my favorite, as well as salmon sashimi, octopus, fresh scallops, and fresh red shrimp—all fresh and varied. The cakes and desserts were satisfying. There was a slight shortage of cutlery, but it was replenished quickly, perhaps because the kitchen couldn't wash and replace it fast enough. Overall, I give it a five-star rating; it was a satisfactory experience.

Due to the limited space, although they managed to fit in a lot of food options, the tables were a bit small and close together. In the middle of the dining area, there was a birthday cake celebration for guests to take photos, and someone played the guitar and sang birthday songs to add to the atmosphere. After the photos, a bell rang, and everyone could line up to get a mixed fruit Napoleon birthday cake, which tasted quite good. The best dishes that evening were the grilled ox tongue skewers and the Thai cucumber and abalone dish, which each person received a plate of. Most of the time, the Royal Garden buffet is in an enclosed space with few window seats. I was so happy to get a window seat tonight, allowing me to watch the Victoria Harbour laser show at 8 PM.
