Hoi An Matlagningskurser

Definitivt höjdpunkten på min resa! Det var en 4 timmars aktivitet och varje del av den var väl värd det! Vi började med upphämtning vid en överenskommen plats (min var Hoi An Post Office) där vi mötte den glada chauffören, och åkte sedan till den lokala marknaden där vi träffade vår underbara kock, Chef Lee. Vi strövade runt på marknaden där hon presenterade oss för de olika lokala produkterna, ingredienserna och hur de används i vietnamesisk matlagning. Därifrån åkte vi till matlagningsplatsen som var en så härlig och inbjudande plats! Vi fick laga 4 olika rätter och åt dem såklart efteråt! Jag var så MÄTT!!! Sedan åkte vi på en kokosnötsbåttur och provade krabbfiske – även om jag misslyckades lol. Sammantaget var detta lätt den BÄSTA aktiviteten jag har gjort i Vietnam! Chef Lee var mycket tillmötesgående, tålmodig och hjälpsam hela tiden! För priset – det var en så komplett upplevelse! Sååååå värt det!!! Rekommenderar definitivt denna tur. :)

The instructor was very friendly and bubbly, providing help whenever we needed, never forcing us to do anything we didn’t want to. The food we cooked was extremely delicious, simple and fun to make. The five courses (not including dessert) were simple but paired very well together and I liked that I was able to tweak each dish to my liking (saltiness, spiciness, etc.). The only thing to be careful about is the flambe of the bahn xiao to make it extra crispy as the fire is quite big and the hot oil my spurt but even if you get scared, the instructor takes over for you very quickly and you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to. The coconut boats were very fun, with the opportunity to fish for crabs and spin to oppa gangnam style while wearing vietnamese hats. We went to take the latern boat at sunset and the views were breathtaking as you had the sunset on one end and could watch the river start to light up as the sky darkens. Overall, great experience and extremely worth the price!

we had such an amazing time in the cooking class, super yummmmmy food and the super cute family all got involved!!!! we loved it!!!! definitely recommend for sure!!!! wish we had time to do more with them!!! ❤️🥰👍💕🌸

Let me add a Chinese review; Chinese people don't deceive Chinese people. This afternoon's itinerary was just for me, but Huong was enthusiastic and friendly throughout the reception and teaching. The driver, the boatman, the coconut boatman, and the lady who gave me a massage were all incredibly friendly. The activities were very rich: I took a boat on the river, rode a coconut boat, and had a super comfortable shoulder, neck, and leg massage (much more comfortable than the one I had last night in Hoi An Ancient Town!). Huong's teaching was also very relaxed and enjoyable, and she even gave me a delicious coconut coffee. Someone helped record videos and take photos throughout the entire process, so the service was very comprehensive and thorough. With hotel pick-up and drop-off included, I really have to praise the rich experience I got for this price! Thank you to the team for diligently hosting even just one person!

Experience: You can learn about herbs and enjoy a light farming experience. The Vietnamese dishes you prepare yourself are excellent because you can adjust the spice level and flavor to your liking.

I participated with my 14-year-old daughter. We went shopping at the market with the instructor, then cycled to the suburbs, had tea by the river, experienced a herb farm, took a cooking class, had lunch, received a foot massage, and finally cycled back to the city. Every part of it was a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it if you're visiting Hoi An. The fried spring rolls, banh xeo, and grilled chicken were all delicious.

had an excellent morning with this group. was a group of approx 11 people. we were picked up from the hotel at exact timing. the guide was there to meet us with the rest of the group. he was very knowledgeable and made the market experience very cool. it was about a 20 minute coconut boat experience. you can pay extra for the boat spinning if you want. not every boat has to do this. the cooking class was excellent and I loved all of the food !!
