From the moment, I was picked up at my hotel accommodation to the trip it was nothing but amazing. The tour driver was very knowledgeable and very ethusiastic during the trip. All of our itinerary and tourist spots were ticked off. I highly recommend to do this Tranzalpine tour from Christchurch to Arthur's Pass. It was my first time in Christchurch and I fell in love with the place. Castle Hill, Otira Viaduct and Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall is a must see + we get to see a Kea bird. I would surely come back next time.

Do note that this is the version of the tour without the TranzAlpine railway, and they will combine both tour groups. You can still get on the train with their help, but it’s cheaper to just get the train package tour from the start. John helped to sort us out and the ride was definitely worth it!
