With a delightful lunch break in Hokitika, this tour perfectly balances adventure and comfort. Day two from Franz Josef to Queenstown was just as spectacular, thanks to our fantastic guide, Martin. His deep knowledge of the West Coast added so much layers to the stunning scenery. We explored the prehistoric beauty of Ship Creek and marveled at the turquoise waters of the Blue Pools. Martin’s storytelling and seamless pacing made the long drive feel like an adventure. If you're heading south, this is the only way to travel!

Fantastic 2 day tour. You will get a chance to see lakes , Glaciers , Birds and more. Really one shouls try this.

Kudos to the tour guides for providing the backstories and knowledge! While day 1 was a disappointment due to an utterly crazy amount of rain, it contributed to amazing sights the next day when the rain greatly reduced, with an incredible number of waterfalls everywhere along the road and at specific tour points listed in the itinerary. It would have been great if there was an extra day in Franz Josef to include a heli ride up to the glaciers (though we couldn't see a thing with the clouds, etc.). It's a different route, which you could consider taking their tours through Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo back to Christchurch to complete a loop!

Itinerary: The locations are well-designed, but it's sad that we couldn't stay longer in Wanaka! I strongly request that we spend more than half an hour in such a beautiful place as Wanaka! The time spent at the boat waterfall could be shortened.
