Taipei Cooking classes

Interesting class to make your own pineapple cake. Recipe makes 10 where 9 will be packed into box and 1 can be enjoyed on the spot. However, baking details were not shared during my session, e.g. to bake how long at what temperature etc. Session includes visiting their museum to learn more on Chinese culture, NT$50 voucher which can be used in their store at Level 1 and a Tea set. At the end, they even have a lucky draw to win their cookies and also capsules to win toys for the kids.

Very happy we booked. Was a fun class. Instructor Angela was great and made it easy for us who never worked with dough before. Location was easy to find and we had a chance to meet and interact with other participants. Would definitely do it again!

I have been Taipei for many times already and most of the tourist spots are no longer attractive to me. I am glad that I have tried this baking class to make my trip more interesting. It is easy to learn from the ipad and the staff are very helpful too.

This cooking class was the highlight of my trip to Taiwan! I joined by myself, but the instructors were so kind, and everyone in the class was fun to be with. It was a really enjoyable experience. During the 3-hour lesson, we made four dishes: shredded tofu salad, chicken soup noodles with sesame oil, xiao long bao (soup dumplings), and tapioca milk tea. Wrapping the xiao long bao was a little tricky, but the instructors taught us very carefully, and I had fun making them. Everything was so delicious, and I want to try making them at home. Thank you for the fun lesson, instructors! I would like to take the radish cake lesson next time I'm in town.

I had a great time at this baking class. Did a solo activity this afternoon and I highly recommend this! The space is very clean and the tablet was easy to follow. Staff speak minimal English but were still helpful. Also good location.

Alex told us old village stories and Taiwanese folk tales while touring the town. The kitchen roll and braised tofu (?) he bought during the market tour were also delicious. He explained everything very easily and well. The cooking was fun, and the kitchen was cool and very clean. He offered tea or coffee from time to time, and cola and beer were provided during the tasting after the cooking was done. I highly recommend this to those who want a special experience during their trip to Taiwan.

I had such a fun time baking! 🧁 The whole experience was super enjoyable from start to finish. Mixing the ingredients, watching everything come together, and seeing the cake rise in the oven was so satisfying. I didn’t feel stressed at all—the steps were easy to follow, and it actually made me feel more confident in the kitchen. The best part was learning to do pipping of the rose. Although it’s tedious but practice make prefect. I loved the process so much that I’m already thinking about what to bake next.
