Taipei Cooking classes

Interesting class to make your own pineapple cake. Recipe makes 10 where 9 will be packed into box and 1 can be enjoyed on the spot. However, baking details were not shared during my session, e.g. to bake how long at what temperature etc. Session includes visiting their museum to learn more on Chinese culture, NT$50 voucher which can be used in their store at Level 1 and a Tea set. At the end, they even have a lucky draw to win their cookies and also capsules to win toys for the kids.

Very happy we booked. Was a fun class. Instructor Angela was great and made it easy for us who never worked with dough before. Location was easy to find and we had a chance to meet and interact with other participants. Would definitely do it again!

We joined a cooking class in Taiwan today and it was such a great experience. We learned how to make xiaolongbao, bubble milktea and pork thick soup, everything was delicious!! the instructor was amazing, very hands-on, she makes sure we understood wvery step. 😊I felt little shy when the instructor talked to me because im not very confident with my english. But she was kind and patient, which made me feel comfortable. 😊Overall, it was fun! Highly recommended if you want to try authentic Taiwanese cooking 😊

One adult can experience making pineapple cakes, egg yolk pastries, or nougat biscuits together with children. Because all kinds of materials and roughly the amount of seasonings have been prepared in advance. So it is very easy and convenient to make. Of course, there are also some steps that require us to do it ourselves. All materials, molds, kitchen utensils, etc., are visibly very hygienic and clean. Plus, they are very friendly, and not only will they talk to us, but the whole production process is very relaxed and enjoyable. When we get home and taste the pineapple cakes we made ourselves, they are also very sweet.

I participated in the beef noodle making class. Although I'm not good at English, Alex is very kind and explains things in an easy-to-understand way. Exploring the city's history and wandering through the market was so much fun!!! Alex takes a lot of photos, so I can concentrate on cooking.

I had such a fun time baking! 🧁 The whole experience was super enjoyable from start to finish. Mixing the ingredients, watching everything come together, and seeing the cake rise in the oven was so satisfying. I didn’t feel stressed at all—the steps were easy to follow, and it actually made me feel more confident in the kitchen. The best part was learning to do pipping of the rose. Although it’s tedious but practice make prefect. I loved the process so much that I’m already thinking about what to bake next.
