Fantastic 5.0
Our stay at this Shinagawa tower hotel was a fantastic experience, especially traveling with my 11-year-old son! The hotel itself is almost like an entertainment hub—it was so cool having a full bowling alley and an aqua center right on-site, which kept my son completely entertained. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of options. However, a quick tip for future travelers: make sure to get there early because the dining area can get quite hectic during peak morning hours. We also loved having a 7-Eleven downstairs right in the building. It was incredibly convenient for grabbing random snacks, drinks, and quick treats at any time of the day. Another huge plus for families is the large coin laundry facility on the premises, which made managing our clothes halfway through the trip effortless. Despite the layout being a bit confusing at first for airport pickups, the excellent amenities, convenient shops, and great food made this a perfect base for our Tokyo adventures!

Fantastic 5.0
Excellent Location: Situated directly across from Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street, it's about a 5 to 7-minute walk to Asakusa Subway Station. With convenience stores and restaurants nearby, it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Clean and Comfortable: Recently built, the decor and rooms are very new and bright, and the beds are soft and comfortable for sleeping. Complimentary Amenities: The lobby offers 24-hour self-service coffee and tea bags, along with a complimentary amenity bar where you can freely pick up items. Extremely Small Bathroom: The integrated bathroom space is very tiny, making it cramped to turn around or use the bathtub. Taller individuals may find it inconvenient. Basic Facilities: Bottled water is not provided in the room (only on the first day), and the outlets do not have USB ports, so you'll need to bring your own adapter. Additional Notes: The hotel provides fresh towels daily, but full room cleaning is done every three days. If you prefer daily cleaning, please keep this in mind.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a very convenient hotel, close to many shopping areas. I'm not sure about the cleanliness, as I only stayed for 3 days and wasn't feeling well. There are many restaurants, department stores, and convenience stores nearby, and it's close to Shinjuku Station. The hotel provides all necessary amenities. This time, I stayed in a very spacious room. The bathroom even had grab bars for seniors. There's also a limousine bus service that picks you up directly from the hotel and takes you to the airport, which is very convenient. The staff were very helpful and happy to assist.

Fantastic 5.0
Every time I visit Tokyo, I stay here. The rooms are affordable and unique, and the staff are incredibly friendly and polite. There's also a common lounge area with tons of manga to read. Coffee, ice, iced water, and hot water machines are available at all times, and in the mornings, there are small pastries you can grab. Cleanliness: Excellent Service: Superb Hotel Location: Asakusa (Kaminarimon) bustling area

More about Tokyo hotels

Quick overview of staying in Tokyo

Staying in Tokyo spans a wide price range — roughly six times from the most affordable economy options up to the top luxury tier — so your budget strongly shapes the experience. The best balance between cost and comfort tends to sit in the premium tier, which offers notable value for travellers who want more space or extras without leaping to the highest rates.

How hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy properties are the most budget-friendly choice and sit well below the city’s mid-price options, suiting travellers prioritising low nightly rates. Standard options step up from economy with moderate added comfort and conveniences for most travellers. The premium tier is the sweet spot and represents the best value; it sits above standard and is the most common compromise for travellers wanting better rooms without the luxury price. The biggest price jump happens when moving from premium to luxury, so choosing between those two is the major decision point for travellers weighing extra splurge versus value.

When travellers from Malaysia tend to book

Rooms in Tokyo are typically cheapest in 6月 and most expensive in 11月; if your trip is budget-led, aim for 6月 when nightly rates are lower than the priciest month. Malaysians generally book around 45 days in advance, with flexibility to plan further ahead if travelling in the priciest month.
