Fantastic 5.0
Our stay at this Shinagawa tower hotel was a fantastic experience, especially traveling with my 11-year-old son! The hotel itself is almost like an entertainment hub—it was so cool having a full bowling alley and an aqua center right on-site, which kept my son completely entertained. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of options. However, a quick tip for future travelers: make sure to get there early because the dining area can get quite hectic during peak morning hours. We also loved having a 7-Eleven downstairs right in the building. It was incredibly convenient for grabbing random snacks, drinks, and quick treats at any time of the day. Another huge plus for families is the large coin laundry facility on the premises, which made managing our clothes halfway through the trip effortless. Despite the layout being a bit confusing at first for airport pickups, the excellent amenities, convenient shops, and great food made this a perfect base for our Tokyo adventures!

Fantastic 5.0
Excellent Location: Situated directly across from Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street, it's about a 5 to 7-minute walk to Asakusa Subway Station. With convenience stores and restaurants nearby, it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Clean and Comfortable: Recently built, the decor and rooms are very new and bright, and the beds are soft and comfortable for sleeping. Complimentary Amenities: The lobby offers 24-hour self-service coffee and tea bags, along with a complimentary amenity bar where you can freely pick up items. Extremely Small Bathroom: The integrated bathroom space is very tiny, making it cramped to turn around or use the bathtub. Taller individuals may find it inconvenient. Basic Facilities: Bottled water is not provided in the room (only on the first day), and the outlets do not have USB ports, so you'll need to bring your own adapter. Additional Notes: The hotel provides fresh towels daily, but full room cleaning is done every three days. If you prefer daily cleaning, please keep this in mind.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a very convenient hotel, close to many shopping areas. I'm not sure about the cleanliness, as I only stayed for 3 days and wasn't feeling well. There are many restaurants, department stores, and convenience stores nearby, and it's close to Shinjuku Station. The hotel provides all necessary amenities. This time, I stayed in a very spacious room. The bathroom even had grab bars for seniors. There's also a limousine bus service that picks you up directly from the hotel and takes you to the airport, which is very convenient. The staff were very helpful and happy to assist.

Fantastic 5.0
Every time I visit Tokyo, I stay here. The rooms are affordable and unique, and the staff are incredibly friendly and polite. There's also a common lounge area with tons of manga to read. Coffee, ice, iced water, and hot water machines are available at all times, and in the mornings, there are small pastries you can grab. Cleanliness: Excellent Service: Superb Hotel Location: Asakusa (Kaminarimon) bustling area

More about Tokyo hotels

What staying in Tokyo feels like

Staying in Tokyo spans a wide price range: the top luxury rates run roughly six times higher than the most affordable economy options, so you can choose anything from tight-budget rooms to lavish suites. The best balance between cost and comfort lands in the premium tier, which tends to offer the most compelling value for most travellers.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the bottom of the scale and are the most budget-friendly option, suitable for travellers prioritising price over space. Standard rooms step up in comfort and convenience from economy and are a sensible mid-point for many visitors. The premium tier represents the sweet spot for quality versus cost and is where the best value typically is; upgrading into luxury from premium is the largest price jump and marks a clear decision point for travellers weighing extra comfort against cost. Luxury properties sit well above the others in price and are aimed at travellers seeking the highest-end experience.

When travellers from Hong Kong tend to book

For travellers from Hong Kong, the priciest month for nightly rates is November and the cheapest month is June; June is the period that suits a budget-led trip. Rooms are typically reserved about 36 days in advance, so many travellers lock in plans around that lead time, and booking earlier becomes more common in the priciest month.
