we loved it! the guide was so nice and everything was great and so tasty, thank you for an awesome experience

it was a great cooking class where we got to learn the secrets of making sushi from what means maki and nigiri to how we use and wrap the ingredients together.

I've done this before with my school but my friends are visiting Kyoto so we decided to do it together. The instructor said everything in both Japanese and English as there were many Japanese guests too. The difficulty is just hard enough that you feel a challenge but not so hard that it's no longer fun. I personally love nerikiri so I happily ate them afterwards, so tasty!!

such a fun activity to add to your Kyoto itinerary. Mizuki and Sara were amazing! would 100% recommend. Oishii Mochi and a fun way to learn about a Japanese cuisine. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Musoshin Noodle Making Workshop! From start to finish, the workshop was fun, interactive, and incredibly authentic. The instructors were patient, friendly, and explained every step clearly, making it enjoyable even for complete beginners. Making the noodles by hand was such a unique cultural experience, and the best part was getting to cook and eat our own delicious ramen afterwards — it honestly tasted amazing! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and you could really feel the passion and craftsmanship behind everything they do. This was one of the highlights of our Japan trip and something we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto who wants a hands-on food experience beyond the usual tourist activities. 5 stars without a doubt!

Such a fun experience! The chef was super knowledgeable and friendly and I loved both paining my own ramen bowl and learning how to make ramen! Plus it was super delicious!!

Had the best experience ever! Shin & Amir were incredibly funny and made our experience extremely memorable. We got to learn how to make our own tasty ramen, engrave our own chopsticks, and of course, taste the beautiful ramen we made. I am very appreciative that we get to go back home with more culinary knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the Japanese culture. This is the number 1 experience we would recommend if you are in Kyoto. If you want to share a laugh whilst also immersing yourself in the Japanese cooking culture, then this is the experience for you!

Really lovely class ran by an enthusiastic instructor that resulted in us also having great food in the end! what more is there to ask for

The class was very well organized and friendly. I had a wonderful time. Learning to cook tempura donburi and miso soup was a real pleasure. The cooking class is one of my best memories from my trip to Japan.
