Recent am fost de două ori la restaurantul Chui Yuen din Sha Tin New Town Plaza pentru dim sum. Dim sum-ul este destul de bun, așa că am cumpărat un cupon de pe Klook când am văzut o ofertă. Am ajuns pe 6 iunie, în jurul orei 10:30 dimineața, iar personalul a fost foarte amabil. Chiar dacă am ajuns mai devreme, am fost așezați rapid. Însă, dim sum-ul din acea zi a fost foarte dezamăgitor. Preparatele prăjite nu erau suficient de fierbinți, păreau să fi stat o vreme. Aluatul era uscat și moale, nu crocant. Găluștele cu creveți (har gow) și shaomai erau și mai rele. Păreau a fi dim sum congelat, pre-preparat, cumpărat de la supermarket. Shaomai-ul avea și un gust foarte puternic de glutamat de sodiu. M-am gândit, oare dim sum-ul de la Klook este pre-preparat? Am întrebat chelnerul. Mi-a spus că bucătăria nu face diferența între clienții Klook și clienții obișnuiți, dar a fost foarte ciudat, dim sum-ul din acea zi nu semăna cu cel pe care îl mănânc de obicei. Însă, personalul restaurantului a fost foarte politicos.

Indiferent dacă vorbim despre locație, servicii sau calitatea mâncării, totul mi-a depășit complet așteptările! Locație excelentă și convenabilă 📍 Restaurantul este situat în hotelul Eaton, o locație foarte convenabilă. Se ajunge rapid cu autobuzul sau la scurt timp după ce ieși din stația de metrou, extrem de practic. Designul general al spațiului restaurantului este foarte distinctiv, având atât o senzație de film retro, nostalgică, cât și confortul modern și elegant. De îndată ce intri, te simți relaxat și fericit. Serviciu impecabil al personalului 💯 Aș dori să laud în mod special atitudinea de serviciu a întregului personal din prima linie în acea zi! De la ghidarea la masă, la debarasarea farfuriilor și până la bucătarii de la fiecare stand de mâncare, fiecare persoană a fost zâmbitoare și extrem de politicoasă. Viteza de debarasare a farfuriilor a fost foarte rapidă și eficientă, fără a lăsa niciodată farfurii goale să se adune pe masă, și au fost mereu atenți la nevoile oaspeților, făcându-i să se simtă cu adevărat bineveniți. Calitate excepțională a mâncării și a fructelor de mare 🦀 Ceea ce m-a impresionat cel mai mult a fost bogăția și calitatea mâncării! Fructele de mare au fost extrem de proaspete, iar stridiile reci, crabii de pâine și alte produse au fost reaprovizionate extrem de rapid, nu am văzut niciodată un platou gol; varietatea de mâncăruri calde a fost diversă, fie că a fost vorba de carne de vită la grătar, pulpă de miel la grătar, mâncăruri gătite aromate sau deserturi rafinate, asezarea a fost perfectă, simțindu-se dedicarea echipei de bucătari. This afternoon, the restaurant was about 85% full, with guests chatting and eating, creating a lively atmosphere. We had a very satisfying afternoon, truly commendable! 👍👍

Exceptional service and amazing food! First, regarding the service, the staff are friendly, polite, and proactive in looking after our needs: the steak cutter remembered that I wanted mine sliced thin; the noodle chef voluntarily offered to make an extra bowl; and the floor staff frequently checked in on the needs of the elderly and children! The food is nothing short of flawless, made-to-order and served fresh, with both savory and sweet options: baked scallops, soft-shell crab, durian crepes, molten lava cake... and no need to wait in line or rush for anything. There are also premium delicacies: fish maw steak, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, grilled crab legs, Japanese fruit platter... Other than being an incredible value and absolutely delicious, I can't think of any other words to describe it!

This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

We never leave disappointed when we eat here. Nowadays, quality buffets are about quality over quantity. Although they have never served oysters, their sashimi is a must-try, especially the large red shrimp (two per serving), scallops, and tuna, which are the best. The all-you-can-eat steak, lobster, and double-boiled soups are also must-haves. For desserts, the chocolate, egg waffles, Haagen-Dazs (both cups and ice cream bars), and various flavors of Movenpick are absolute musts. If you still have room, add a bowl of noodles in supreme broth, and try the grilled kani miso crab shell (different varieties are available during each time slot). Today, for the Mid-Autumn Festival, there was hot glutinous rice ball soup for dessert, and the cantaloupe was very sweet. Drinks are self-serve, including hot coffee and iced lemon tea, with an option to add $50 for unlimited apple juice, orange juice, and soft drinks (they used to have mango juice). Food was still being refilled even at 9:00 PM. Service: Plates were cleared constantly, water refilled promptly, and the staff was polite.

I'd eaten at this buffet before and had a good impression, so when my friends and I made a quick return visit, it was still full of pleasant surprises. What appealed to me most was the freshly carved sirloin steak. It was rich in flavor, perfectly grilled, and incredibly satisfying with the gravy. The seafood section was also outstanding; the snow crab legs, chilled shrimp, and mussels were all fresh, sweet, and replenished quickly, so there was no need to worry. The sushi was also high-quality, with fresh sashimi and perfectly seasoned rice, making it impossible to stop at just one piece. Of course, the collaboration with On Kee this season, offering abalone, was an added bonus. But ultimately, this buffet's core offerings are already strong—sirloin, seafood, and sushi are all excellent, and the desserts and hot dishes are not to be overlooked. This quick visit only lasted two hours, and I was completely stuffed, but it was definitely worth the price. I've already made plans with my friends to come back again soon!
