Recent am fost de două ori la restaurantul Chui Yuen din Sha Tin New Town Plaza pentru dim sum. Dim sum-ul este destul de bun, așa că am cumpărat un cupon de pe Klook când am văzut o ofertă. Am ajuns pe 6 iunie, în jurul orei 10:30 dimineața, iar personalul a fost foarte amabil. Chiar dacă am ajuns mai devreme, am fost așezați rapid. Însă, dim sum-ul din acea zi a fost foarte dezamăgitor. Preparatele prăjite nu erau suficient de fierbinți, păreau să fi stat o vreme. Aluatul era uscat și moale, nu crocant. Găluștele cu creveți (har gow) și shaomai erau și mai rele. Păreau a fi dim sum congelat, pre-preparat, cumpărat de la supermarket. Shaomai-ul avea și un gust foarte puternic de glutamat de sodiu. M-am gândit, oare dim sum-ul de la Klook este pre-preparat? Am întrebat chelnerul. Mi-a spus că bucătăria nu face diferența între clienții Klook și clienții obișnuiți, dar a fost foarte ciudat, dim sum-ul din acea zi nu semăna cu cel pe care îl mănânc de obicei. Însă, personalul restaurantului a fost foarte politicos.

This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

It's convenient; you can book the day before you want to go. However, I recommend booking an earlier time slot because this time, when we booked for an 8 PM arrival, the meal wasn't as expected. Plus, as soon as 9 PM hit, the restaurant staff seemed very eager to leave.

Many years ago, my sister and I came here for drinks, and at the time, I felt the place was quite dark and not as beautiful as I'd imagined. My memory might be a bit hazy now, so this time I specifically came with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered the hotel lobby, the lobby manager escorted us directly to the elevator up to the restaurant, and then arranged a window seat for us, which was very thoughtful. Although I specifically called ahead to arrange it, the hotel did their best to accommodate my request, so I was very satisfied. As for the food, it was, of course, exceptional. The seafood in the seafood tower was very fresh. The dish that truly amazed me was the hot appetizer—the duck breast. The skin was crispy, and the meat inside was tender, almost like eating roast goose, not at all like the dry texture usually associated with duck breast. It was incredibly delicious. Besides that, the ambiance was excellent; we enjoyed our meal while looking out at the night sea view. All the staff that evening were very friendly, and finally, they presented me with birthday chocolates. It was truly a perfect start to the evening and a wonderful dining experience. It was quite chaotic. The waiter at the door had no idea about the pre-paid package, and it took a long time before we could be seated. We also had to pay over a hundred dollars extra for the service charge, so it wasn't a great value. If you live nearby, it might be worth a try.

Locație excelentă și convenabilă 📍 Restaurantul este situat în hotelul Eaton, o locație foarte convenabilă. Se ajunge rapid cu autobuzul sau la scurt timp după ce ieși din stația de metrou, extrem de practic. Designul general al spațiului restaurantului este foarte distinctiv, având atât o senzație de film retro, nostalgică, cât și confortul modern și elegant. De îndată ce intri, te simți relaxat și fericit. Serviciu impecabil al personalului 💯 Aș dori să laud în mod special atitudinea de serviciu a întregului personal din prima linie în acea zi! De la ghidarea la masă, la debarasarea farfuriilor și până la bucătarii de la fiecare stand de mâncare, fiecare persoană a fost zâmbitoare și extrem de politicoasă. Viteza de debarasare a farfuriilor a fost foarte rapidă și eficientă, fără a lăsa niciodată farfurii goale să se adune pe masă, și au fost mereu atenți la nevoile oaspeților, făcându-i să se simtă cu adevărat bineveniți. Calitate excepțională a mâncării și a fructelor de mare 🦀 Ceea ce m-a impresionat cel mai mult a fost bogăția și calitatea mâncării! Fructele de mare au fost extrem de proaspete, iar stridiile reci, crabii de pâine și alte produse au fost reaprovizionate extrem de rapid, nu am văzut niciodată un platou gol; varietatea de mâncăruri calde a fost diversă, fie că a fost vorba de carne de vită la grătar, pulpă de miel la grătar, mâncăruri gătite aromate sau deserturi rafinate, asezarea a fost perfectă, simțindu-se dedicarea echipei de bucătari. Secțiunea de deserturi a fost un final perfect, cu o selecție vastă de înghețată și diverse prăjituri mici rafinate, a căror calitate nu a fost deloc inferioară celei a cofetăriilor de lux. În concluzie: Restaurantul The Astor a demonstrat un standard extrem de înalt în ceea ce privește ambianța, serviciile și mâncarea, oferind un raport calitate-preț excelent. Aceasta este cu siguranță o experiență culinară pe care aș dori să o repet, o recomand cu tărie tuturor prietenilor care caută mâncare excelentă și servicii de calitate!
