It was a great hiking experience with full transfers, much easier than going alone. Many of the guides were very enthusiastic and easy to communicate with. Before setting off, there were hot drinks, and breakfast was served at the summit. My friend and I weren't in the best shape and fell behind a bit during the ascent, but the thoughtful female guide specifically waited for us and checked on our condition. The sunrise at the summit of Mount Batur was beautiful, and experiencing it with people from all over the world was also one of the joys.
