The road going up is not easy because it's quite steep starting from the middle of our journey. But our guide is very supportive throughout the hike. And the view at the top of the mountain was just spectacular and everything was worth it... Highly recommended to anyone who is also a nature lover!! A warm reminder is that the top of the mountain is very cold!

Our guide, Agus, was close to perfection. He's the best guide we met in Bali. He gave us short breaks every 10-15 minutes and continuously checked in to make sure we were okay. At the summit, he provided warm coffee and a meal, allowing us to enjoy the magnificent sunrise without any issues despite the somewhat cold weather. On the way down, he also offered us options, letting us experience places that are not easily accessible. We had a wonderful time :)

I did the group sunrise trekking and the experience was absolutely memorable. Our guide was great - positive, chirpy and helpful. He took us up through the non-treaded path which was a unique challenge but we came down the normal way. He took great pictures as well. The pick up from and to the hotel was on time and smooth.

Our Mt Batur hike was memorable and safe—thanks to our incredible guide. My partner and I hike at a slower pace, but he never once made us feel rushed. Instead, he patiently kept us company at the back of the group, offering encouragement and sharing stories about the mountain as we climbed. Reaching the summit, he steered us to a quieter lookout away from the crowds. Watching the sun rise was cold but pure magic, and he captured the moment perfectly—snapping stunning photos and even filming a short video so we could relive it later. The descent was tricky for me and steep as I struggled with the loose gravel. He literally offered me a steady hand the entire way down, making sure I never lost my footing. If you’re looking for an experienced guide with local knowledge and care for your safety, look for I ketut kertana. Highly recommend him!

My spouse and I participated from Sanur. The driver, Edi, was very friendly and knew the roads well, which gave us peace of mind. Agus guided us at Mount Bountur. Although we are over 60, Agus constantly minded our pace so we could make the climb. At the summit, he showed us scenic spots and was also very skilled at taking pictures. After descending, we stopped by Cretya Ubud. Since it was early in the morning, it was not crowded and we could sit in free seats. There was also a warm water area, and a drink was included. We spent about an hour and a half there before heading back. We are so glad we participated.
