Labuan Bajo

An elderly father and his son went diving together. They were newly certified, beginner-level divers, so they hired a one-on-one dive guide. The guide from AZUL was very friendly to beginners. We also met a young woman from Singapore in our group, so even poor English wasn't an issue. We didn't see any manta rays, but we'll definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Loccal Collection Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The check-in process was smooth, and the hospitality throughout my stay made me feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in both the room amenities and housekeeping. The hotel’s location is also a great advantage, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall ambience was stylish and relaxing. What stood out the most was the excellent service from the entire team. Their friendliness and professionalism truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend Loccal Collection Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable stay. I would definitely love to return on my next visit!

This is a high-end hotel in the city, and the ocean view upon entering is absolutely stunning. I just wish Klook had mentioned that booking an ocean-view room includes complimentary airport transfers. I only found out at check-in that round-trip airport transfers were free. The breakfast selection is extensive, with many local specialty foods to choose from.

Loved our stay. Rooms were clean and cosy. Complimentary breakfast was great, and staff were super friendly. Location was a bit out of the way so a bit hard to get around, and the hotel's transport charges were quite high. Gojek and grab only seems to have bike transport available, and it wasn't possible to book a car.

Boat Condition: The boat was in excellent condition! It was clean, safe, and there were no parts that could cause injury. Oh! On days with big waves, I thought it would be good to have seatbelts, as there was a risk of falling off the chair even when sitting still at high speed. :) Guide: Yoga briefed us on the tour itinerary and explained the rules we needed to follow for safety and to protect the tour sites. With a lively and positive vibe, he took great photos at each tour spot and naturally led conversations. During snorkeling, he guided my husband and me, who are not used to swimming in the sea, by holding onto a life tube, allowing us to see beautiful corals, fish, turtles, and even sharks! If my friends ever travel to Labuan Bajo, I would definitely recommend him! Itinerary: We went to Padar Island, Pink Beach, and Komodo National Park, then had lunch, visited a beautiful beach, and went snorkeling at Manta Point and Reef Point. The tour started at 6 AM and ended around 3:30-4 PM, which felt just right. :) Safety: We didn't have major concerns as there were professional boat drivers and staff. However, it was a day with strong winds and rougher waves than usual. Although I don't usually get seasick, it was a bit challenging today. It would be good to bring motion sickness medication even if you don't normally get seasick.

I was told that they would pick me up in the lobby at 6:30 AM, so I quickly ate breakfast at the hotel and headed there, but they didn't arrive until 6:45 AM, which was frustrating. 15 minutes in the morning is a big deal. Other than that, it was a perfect tour. We didn't see any manta rays, but we saw many sea turtles, and the guide took some great videos with my camera! They took them so well, it became a wonderful memory! If we had been better at diving, we would have wanted to be in the pictures with them, but that's for next time. We were told it was lucky to see two Komodo dragons during mating season, but I think we saw about 10. We even witnessed a fighting scene, which was powerful! It was a fulfilling day! Boat condition: When everyone sat inside the boat, it was quite narrow and cramped. Safety: I later learned that in July of this year, a Chinese couple who couldn't swim drowned in this area because they weren't wearing life jackets. If you're not confident in your swimming ability, please declare it and rent a life jacket. Don't do reckless things, cause an accident, and then blame others.

I'm a Korean who went on my honeymoon here. At first, I hesitated because there were fewer reviews compared to other places, but I trusted the Korean reviews and booked it. I highly recommend it! It was the Ohana company, and the boat was in good condition. At each point, there were many people, but they gave us small flower pins so we wouldn't get confused, and all the guides were very kind. At Manta Point, I was too scared to go in, but the guides took my phone and went in themselves to film videos for me, which was the best!

Un après-midi charmant et un excellent rapport qualité-prix. La grotte de Rangko avec son lagon bleu était rafraîchissante, la plongée avec tuba de classe mondiale et la vue depuis la colline sereine. Fortement recommandé comme prélude à la grande excursion d'une journée sur l'île de Komodo !
