Experiência de Trekking ao Nascer do Sol no Monte Batur com Consciência Ecológica

Our tour guide, Gede, is a young man who is very passionate about his job. He constantly paid attention to our needs, introduced us to the local scenery, and even took us on an alternative route back. He was also enthusiastic about helping us take photos. The highlight of this trip was the volcano hike, and we were very lucky to witness a stunning sunrise with fiery clouds. While we were enjoying the sunrise, Gede went to prepare breakfast for us, allowing us to savor the beautiful scenery while eating. PS: To participate in this tour, you need to have a certain level of physical fitness, as shortly after starting, you'll be walking on volcanic ash or sandy ground, which can be quite slippery and has a significant incline. However, being able to complete the entire journey and see the beautiful scenery makes it all worthwhile.

The hours were hard: we had to leave the hotel at 1am and it was another 2 hour drive to Mount Batur. The hike was strenuous and it was freezing at the top before sunrise. You definitely need a warm jacket (better be windproof). But the view of the sunrise was so fabulous!!! It was the most memorable and best thing I did in my 10-day Bali trip. Our guide (sadly forgot his name) took incredible panoramic photos for us. I think everyone needs to do this once in their lifetime. We’re not very fit people, so the private tour suited us. We were a little bit worried when our male driver picked us (two girls) up at 1am and drove us into the dark roads in the middle of nowhere (there were very few cars before you got to the parking area), but everything turned out to be okay.

I was worried about my stamina, but I'm so glad I did this tour! The sunrise was incredibly beautiful and stunning! At exactly 2:30 AM, our driver Mr. Ketut and guide Mr. Gede picked us up at the hotel! I struggled a lot during the trek, but our guide Gede constantly checked on me and carefully helped me through dangerous sections, holding my hand as I climbed or descended, which allowed me to witness a perfect sunrise! I think the tour was successful because our guide was so considerate! I was very worried about the cold, but a short-sleeved shirt and long pants were sufficient for the ascent and descent, and a fleece hoodie was just right for me at the summit. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys climbing or wants to experience the beauty of a Bali sunrise! However, it would be good to build up your stamina a bit beforehand ^^;;; My mom, who enjoys hiking, said it wasn't difficult at all!

Me encantó la visita a la cima del Monte Batur. La vista desde la cima era indescriptiblemente hermosa y se podía ver el amanecer en el momento justo. Hay opciones para tomar un taxi en motocicleta (con costo adicional, no incluido en el paquete) para subir la mayor parte de la escalada. Los tours a la plantación de café, la cascada y la terraza de arroz también fueron hermosos. Nuestro conductor fue muy complaciente en cuanto a dónde nos gustaría pasar más tiempo o dónde no nos gustaría quedarnos tanto.

Katut/Ari was an amazing guide. He let me go at my own pace, answered all my questions and took lots of amazing pictures as well. We took lots of short breaks but were still able to make it in time for the sunrise. We got to the top in 1hr40mins. He also explained about Balinese culture and I learned a few words. Overall, it was an amazing experience! I was a solo traveler but would love to do it again with friends someday!

Even though we started off the day really early, it was a wonderful (even though extremely tiring uphill climb) experience. Our lovely guide Marta was very friendly and extremely pleasant. We were very much inspired by how he get through all the climbing without any difficulties. After enduring for 2hrs, we made it to the top and watched the beautiful sunrise. Marta prepared eggs, bread and some hot chocolates for us as we settle down to catch the breathtaking view (literally breathtaking cause of the climb). We didn’t have any strength to walk back to the starting point so we paid the locals extra to get us back to the starting point on bikes. That was another experience that I think everyone should try as well

We were guided by an experienced guide for the hike. He was polite and friendly. He offered help to carry bags too. The driver was very helpful and he helped us took a lot of photos at the tourist spots despite the hot weather and the long queue. Kudos to both of them!

I would like to thank Berig, who picked me up for the Mount Batur trip, our guide Ketut, and the driver who took us back to the accommodation (I’m sorry I couldn’t remember his name). Before starting the hike at dawn, they provided water, headlamps, walking sticks, and jackets at the meeting point, which made the preparation much easier. Our guide Ketut was very kind and attentive. He kept pace with the group and led the hike in a safe and well-organized manner. On steeper or more difficult sections, he even held our hand to help, which made me feel very safe and supported. Thanks to him, even beginners can reach the summit without much difficulty. The breakfast was also satisfying, and overall it was a very enjoyable hiking experience. For solo travelers like me, this tour was very reasonably priced compared to others. Highly recommended.

MADD trek .. it’s not very easy you need to be physically fit .. but all worth for the sunrise view
