Bintan

The Mangrove Tour and Fireflies Tour were fantastic from start to finish. We were picked up directly from Natra Bintan Resort for both tours and sent back afterwards, making everything seamless and hassle-free. A huge thank you to our guide, Eddy, and boat captain, Pak Ah Boon. We enjoyed the daytime tour so much that we were delighted to have them again for the Fireflies Tour! Their sharp eyes helped us spot Silvered Leaf Monkeys (Lutung), a monitor lizard, mangrove and green rat snakes, a (big!) kingfisher, archer fish, and many crabs and fish. Eddy was friendly, knowledgeable, and taught us so much about the mangrove ecosystem, tides, wildlife, nipa palms, and even how natural red dye was made. The Fireflies Tour was magical. We saw countless fireflies, gently caught a few before releasing them, and Eddy even pointed out the stars in the clear night sky. We loved every minute. Safe, educational, and unforgettable—highly recommended!

I carefully compared various products on Klook and decided on this one. I chose it because of the positive reviews from other users and the more economical price compared to other options, and it was a very satisfying tour! Our family of four, including two elementary school-aged children, participated, and it seems like it will be a great memory and valuable experience for the kids. Traveling through the mangrove forest by boat in the dark of night, and seeing fireflies in person for the first time, something I'd only heard about until adulthood, made it an even more special time. I was grateful that the guide caught fireflies and placed them in the children's hands, and moved us to several locations, even late at night, so we could see as many fireflies as possible. Additionally, the explanation about the fireflies' life cycle and characteristics was very informative. As it was our first tour, I was a bit flustered and forgot to give the guide a tip as a token of my appreciation (it's not mandatory), which was my only regret. I highly recommend this firefly tour to anyone considering it!!

Absolutely fantastic experience !! Our driver, Mr Ali, was a joy to be with !! He was really accommodating & an expert navigator !! We had last minute requests to add on the itinerary (additional charge which we dont mind ofcourse) & he knew how to get there and gave us the right information as well !! The desert, blue lake even had a professional photographer included in the package so our pictures turned out great !! The honey & coffee picking was short but fruitful especially for coffee lovers like us !! Tasted authentic coffee & learnt a lot from them !! Overall, this package is soo worth it !! Would love to have Mr Ali as our driver again if we happen to come back !! 🙏🏽

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Sand Dunes and Blue Lake in Bintan. The scenery was beautiful, and we managed to take many great photos, including a photo session with the adorable owl. Our guide, Diki, was friendly, patient, and drove safely throughout the trip. He knew the best photo spots and made sure we had enough time to enjoy each location without feeling rushed. We also stopped by a local restaurant and souvenir shops, and there was no pressure to make any purchases. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable tour. Everything was well organized, and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bintan. ( P.S. I've intentionally chosen photos that don't show our full face for privacy. )

Superb experience on the fireflies tour. We managed to see many stars and catch a few fireflies.

Went for a day trip and met the most kind and efficient driver, helping us to take pictures. even allowed us to extend our trip for another few hours.

I opted for the Mangrove tour + Snorkeling + Dinner package. Pick-up was from accomodations by Mr Yurnalis. Hee was a wonderful driver. He spoke english, was punctual and attentive to all our requests, he would also inform us of drive duration between destinations. Tourguide Mr Taufiq led our Mangrove tour. His tour was very educational, he spotted animals for us and shared about its history and importance to the ecosystem. Mr Yurnalis then drove us to a small port for a short boat ride to a Kelong off-shore. At the Kelong, we snorkelled, fished, and kayaked! We were also served complimentary cup noodles and drinks. The guides on the Kelong we all friendly, helpful, patient and constantly checked-in on us to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. I really enjoyed the snorkeling portion, Abang Wandi used a Gopro to take lots of pics & vids of us. Download the Insta360 app to get footage for free. Dinner was at Bintan Seafood Brothers, it included 3 side dishes + rice + water. Very worth it!

Just one day before we went to Bintan, I decided to book a day tour. This highly recommended day tour had caught my attention while I was searching in KLOOK. The company was very responsive; they contacted me shortly after I had made the booking. They assigned our job to Mr Wayan, who was our private tour guide and driver. To our surprise, Mr Wayan can speak English very well (and singlish too!). When we saw there was a long queue at the custom immgration, we requested to start our tour from the ferry terminal instead of the hotel, Mr Wayan was flexible and fetch us as per our request. Our itinerary - Mangrove tour (pay at site), 500 Lohan Temple, Vhihara Pagoda, Kelong Seafood, Souvenir shop (Kueh Lapis), Sand Dune and Blue Lake, Body Massage (pay at site). Mr Wayan is attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, responsible, trustworthy, reliable and honest. This tour and Mr Wayan is highly recommended! We enjoyed every bit of the tour! Thank you!
