highly recommend! esp if you get James as a guide - he's so funny and relaxed. i learned a lot and felt very safe. i feel like i got a good day trip out of this experience as a first-time Japan solo traveller who can't drive!! this is a great option for people in a similar boat. i rated value short one star as i ended up going on a cloudier day, which was somewhat my fault (as shown in pics). generally speaking it would've been fully worth my money if i saw fuji-san's peak! otherwise, the driving, destinations, educational aspects and photo ops were great!

Aoki is a great guide with proper prepared strucutre. Her communication with every single parcipant is above and beyond, very nice down to earth and amazing person. The tour went smooth and we got introduced to the history of Mount Fuji aswell all the look out points without any problem. I Would definitely recommend this package to anyone visiting Japan for the first time. Thank you Aoki!

Kousei was a great tour guide - friendly, polite, patient and gave us good explanations of the different attractions in both English and Chinese. All attractions were beautiful but I wish we had more time to stop at each place. Lake Ashi cruise was the highlight of the trip. Be aware that the Ropeway tickets are not included and must be paid separately (2,000 yen each) - this wasn't made very clear in the itinerary or inclusions/exclusions.

I had such a wonderful experience on the Mt. Fuji tour (18 Oct)!❤️ Our guide Tim was incredibly kind, informative, and helpful throughout the day. I really appreciated all the local recommendations and useful tips, especially for avoiding tourist traps and discovering more authentic places. What made the experience even more special was that they continued sharing recommendations even after the tour, which was so thoughtful plus gave us a postcard as a souvenir. 💝He also shared some lovely photos and were always quick to respond to any questions. You can really tell he genuinely care about the guests and want them to have the best possible experience, even beyond the tour itself. Thank you so much for your kindness and for making the trip so memorable Tim! Highly recommend! 😊✨

Fantastic 5.0
This Mount Fuji day trip far exceeded expectations and is highly recommended! We were very lucky; it was a cloudless day, and we got a clear view of Mount Fuji with its snow-capped peak. The breathtaking feeling of seeing it in person is something photos simply cannot capture. The itinerary was well-paced, hitting popular spots like Lake Kawaguchiko, Oshino Hakkai, and the viral Lawson convenience store. There was plenty of time for sightseeing and photos at each location, so it didn't feel rushed or like a whistle-stop tour. The tour guide was professional and attentive, with clear explanations in Mandarin. Along the way, they introduced the history of Mount Fuji and local customs, actively recommended great photo spots, and helped everyone take wonderful group photos. The bus was clean and comfortable, the driver was smooth, pickup times were punctual, and there were no unexpected shopping stops throughout the entire trip, making for a pure sightseeing experience. Standing by the lake looking out at Mount Fuji, with the water reflecting the majestic mountain, the scenery looked just like a postcard. The spring water at Oshino Hakkai was crystal clear and the environment was serene. Visiting multiple classic Mount Fuji sights in a single day saves both time and hassle, sparing you the trouble of figuring out transportation and planning an itinerary yourself. If you want to see Mount Fuji from Tokyo, choosing this day trip route offers great value and has become an unforgettable memory of our trip to Japan. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of visiting Mount Fuji!

Very good trip but schedule is a bit tight, smooth ride with very friendly and supportive tour guide. Meeting point location is a bit confusing with all the name of the places mixed up on the brochure. Best to scan the QR code for location and try to get there early.

Had an amazing time especially because the tour group was small. Really appreciated our guide taking the time to explain and get us to Mount Fuji early and take so many photos for me and my wife. The outlets had so many good items and there were so many mesmerizing views.

Thank you, Jack, for leading our group on a tour of Kamakura and Enoshima on October 1, 2026. Since we had 30 friends participating, I was the one who booked the tickets for everyone. We were truly lucky, as it was the very first clear day after 34 consecutive days of rain in Tokyo and Kamakura, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! This itinerary involves walking about 20,000 steps. Our schedule went very smoothly that day, and we managed to visit every spot: Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the Kamakura Great Buddha, riding the Enoden train, visiting Enoshima, and even stopping by the Slam Dunk railway crossing. Thank you, Jack, for recommending the restaurant on Enoshima Island, which gave us a chance to rest and enjoy lunch. In addition, a small group of us followed your recommendation and went up the observation tower to take in the stunning views! Because the weather was so clear, we even got to see Mount Fuji! It was amazing! The only thing is that we had a few elderly members over the age of 70 in our group, and this itinerary required them to walk a bit too much. If older travelers are not quite up for a lot of walking, this tour might not be suitable for them. However, for those who can handle the pace, this itinerary is fantastic and very fulfilling!

What to know before visiting Fujinomiya

What to try first in Fujinomiya

Fujinomiya’s most-booked experiences are Tours, followed by Outdoor & sports activities and Attraction passes, with a smaller selection of Cultural experiences. Demand peaks in March, with a noticeable dip through summer, so the rhythm of the year moves from busy spring bookings to a much quieter July and August.

Best picks for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will find Attraction passes and Tours the easiest options — attraction bundles and guided trips suit groups with varied interests and energy levels. Couples often gravitate to Outdoor & sports activities and more curated Tours for memorable shared experiences. Solo travellers and small groups can pick from Tours and Cultural experiences for flexible, social days out, while Outdoor & sports activities offer higher-adrenaline options for adventurous individuals.

What travellers should book ahead

What travellers book ahead Most things in Fujinomiya are still flexible for short trips — many bookings can be made a day or two before, but the earliest planners typically secure spots around three weeks ahead. Booking in advance matters most in March, when demand is highest and popular tours and outdoor slots fill up faster.

How the categories compare on price and audience

Attraction passes are the easiest way in and show the widest spread of options, ranging from budget-friendly standard passes to higher-value bundles, making them a good fit for varied budgets and families. Tours sit at a moderate price level and appeal broadly to visitors who want structured sightseeing without high cost. Outdoor & sports activities are the priciest on average, geared toward travellers seeking active, premium experiences. Cultural experiences occupy a middle ground but are smaller in selection, appealing to those after local, meaningful encounters.
