Things to do in Sumida Hokusai Museum

We had a great experience at Tokyo Asakusa Kimono&Yukata Rental at Kimono Miyabi Asakusa Station. The staff were friendly and helped us pick beautiful kimonos for both me and my daughter. The dressing and styling were quick and professional, and everything fit comfortably. We really enjoyed walking around Asakusa in our outfits and taking photos together. Highly recommended for a fun and memorable experience in Tokyo!

Rei and koto are excellent guides! they were both very informative and nice. rei had a really captivating smile so our group kept smiling the whole time. their english is amazing too. They taught us the to-dos inside the temple, helped us to take pictures and even recommended us hiddend gems around asakusa area that we tried the next day. thank you rei and koto!

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. Watching the wrestlers train up close gave me a whole new appreciation for the dedication, discipline, and hard work required in sumo. The practice felt very authentic and respectful, and the exclusive interaction afterward made the experience even more memorable. Ryoko was an amazing guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the experience. Her explanations helped us better understand the traditions and culture of sumo, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Being able to see the wrestlers in such an intimate setting was something I could never experience back home. I enjoyed this experience so much that I plan to bring my family the next time I visit Japan. If you’re interested in Japanese culture or sumo wrestling, I highly recommend this tour. We had a great time! the girl instructor was great in english, really engaging, warm and welcoming, a really good teacher and was great to chat with. she even recommended a local ramen shop for us to try. the ingredients were fresh and tastes amazing! ✨especially the squid nigiri that we made. the only downside was the place was hard to look for because they have such a small signage so it took as a while to find it, but overall we had a great experience.

staff were so sweet and patient. we managed to communicate well despite our japanese being poor. the glass making was so fun and im excited to take it home with me

Today, I explored Shinjuku with three tour guides: Kotoha, Rie, and Mai. All three guides spoke excellent English and introduced us to many delicious food and drink options. They also shared the fascinating history and sights of Asakusa. If we had come by ourselves, we surely would have rushed through and missed so much. Plus, the guides took amazing photos! For anyone tired of bad photos taken by their boyfriends or husbands, you really must come. Japanese female guides are truly skilled photographers, highly recommended!

What an amazing experience. This was so cool to learn and watch the wrestlers do a live practice. Every single person is beyond nice. You get an informational introduction at the park before going to the stable. Once at the stable you will get to experience a live practice session with a Q&A at the end...plus a photo! 1000% recommended

It was a really fun experience! ようこさん(youko) was really great she explained everything really well and taught us some Japanese phrases to use in tea ceremonies! She taught use the meanings of a lot of things that i didn’t understand before so im very happy! I really recommend this place !
