Things to do in Akihabara

I managed to purchase the Tokyo Have Fun Pass on a 1-for-1 promotion, which offered great value. I downloaded the Travel Contents app and added the two e-passes with ease. The passes were used to redeem tickets for Small Worlds and Sumida Aquarium, along with a ¥2,000 voucher at Bic Camera and a ¥3,000 voucher at Shinjuku Nonotori. The entire process was smooth, and redemption was simple and convenient.

Absolutely amazing experience at Gameboy Mod Workshop at Akihabara, Tokyo in Tokyo! The staff were super friendly, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about retro gaming. They made the whole process fun and easy to follow, whether you’re a hardcore Game Boy fan or just getting into retro gaming. Loved being able to customise and build my own Game Boy — such a unique experience and an awesome souvenir to take home. The attention to detail and care they put into the workshop was next level. If you’re visiting Tokyo and love retro games, I highly recommend checking this place out. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! 🎮🔥

This was an amazing thing to experience here in Japan!! Will definitely do this again! Loved the outfits you can choose and a free magnet at the end you get. All the staff was amazing and so friendly!

Everything was awesome. My guide was so helpful and super knowledgeable about the area as well as each of the shops and café I visited. I loved the maid café the most and the arcade was fun to play Mario kart racing games. The figurine shop was extensive and great to explore. The tee shirt shop was fun to look around and buy a real Hatsune Miku Happi coat. I would certainly book another trip just the same as this one. I had so much fun!!! I really loved everything that afternoon!!!

My artist, Hiko was extremely kind, gentle, and patient. Hiko worked to ensure my vision for my tattoo came to life and did a fabulous job. Thank you Hiko! we were originally going to 2nd shop but weather messed that up. luckily they quickly helped to get us a different tour in Tokyo Bay the same day and it was such a great experience to street kart on the roads of Tokyo and driving on rainbow Bridge. instructor: Olly was experienced and fun to have as a guide.

I think it’s wonderful experience on trying to make DS even though it said to be the hardest out of them all but I would recommend something more easier but overall it’s a 10/10 experience of my gamer life

Fun experience for kids and adults. Use ink tools and screen tones and either trace an image or make your own. Friendly staff, totally English-okay (and of course Japanese-okay).
