Street Go-Kart Experience in Akihabara/Shibuya by the Original Stree

we were originally going to 2nd shop but weather messed that up. luckily they quickly helped to get us a different tour in Tokyo Bay the same day and it was such a great experience to street kart on the roads of Tokyo and driving on rainbow Bridge. instructor: Olly was experienced and fun to have as a guide.

Really fun experience, definitely a must try if you come to Tokyo and have a driver's license, you only need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) before coming over, from your country. My guide Michael showed us around Tokyo, in particular, zooming and driving into districts / areas such as Tokyo Station, Akihabara and Ginza. Highly Recommended!

Loved this experience! Our guide Julian was excellent and made it so much fun! the actual Go Kart and driving experience was very structured with hand signals signifying certain things and how to use the karts explained in the beginning. I was very nervous but Julian was great at making everyone feel comfortable. It’s certainly a great way to experience the streets of Tokyo! Julian took heaps of photos of the group (there was 5 of us) and sent them to everyone at the end of the experience free of charge! I was quite impressed with this as most places will charge extra! would definitely recommend this experience!

AMAZING experience! I came alone but the team at STREET KART Akihabara 1st were great at making me feel at ease and patiently explaining everything. My guide Dom took good care of me on the roads, always watching out and taking lots of pictures for me. A must try if you are in Tokyo!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Night Go-Karting in Akihabara with an Amazing Guide! I had an absolutely fantastic time on the Akihabara go-kart tour tonight! Riding through the illuminated streets of Tokyo at night, surrounded by skyscrapers, was a surreal and thrilling experience. The karts are super fun to drive, and seeing the city lights from that perspective is unbeatable. A huge shout-out to our guide, David! He was incredibly professional, friendly, and patient. He gave us a very clear and thorough safety briefing before we started, which made me feel completely at ease. Throughout the entire tour, David was exceptionally attentive and took great care of our group, making sure everyone was safe and having a good time while navigating the traffic. If you're looking for a unique way to explore Tokyo and see the night views (like in the photo!), I highly recommend this activity. Thank you, David, for an unforgettable evening!

This was an amazing and memorable experience. 100/10 you must do this when coming to Japan! We were a group of 6 and did the 1 hour tour through the city. Be sure to get your IDP from your home country before coming here so you can drive the karts. You might also want to wear the clear goggles for all the wind and exhaust that comes from the kart infront of you. ALSO, if you get David as a tour guide, you’ll be in REALLY good hands. He was very clear with his instructions, easy to follow, and took so many pictures of us. Overall amazing experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!
