The instruction was excellent — clear, patient, and easy to follow even for total beginners. We had a great time throughout, and there’s something really special about getting to bring home a personalized set of chopsticks we made with our own hands. It’s a souvenir that actually means something. Highly recommend this experience, and we’d absolutely do it again. We had such a wonderful family experience at this Japanese craft studio. We made our own chopsticks, and it was both fun and memorable for all of us. The activity was well-organized, enjoyable, and something we will always remember from our Japan trip. Highly recommended for families! The Filipino staff were kind and always smiling.

guided by Saira and Erika, like the previous days. but today I met Umar and Kai, they helped me with the other chopsticks… coz I made four again today. learned and talk a lot with Kai, he’s funny and awesome!!! Dewy and Nao were here too and I like seeing their friendly faces every time! LOOOOVE THIS PLACE

this was a wonderful class. making my own chopsticks was fun, and took some physical strength. i appreciated that they allowed us to add on the gold lacquer plate artwork, which made for a lovēy afternoon.

We came here to create our own chopsticks. And this was a very beautiful and very fun experience that is an absolute must-do when you’re here in Asakusa japan. Misato was really kind and really took her time to help and guide us through the entire proces, when engraving our chopsticks she asked us to choose in which font we wanted it engraved, which was really cool. She can also translate your text into japanese which was really cool and fun! She definitely made the experience very enjoyable. And she speaks very good English too! I would 100/10 recommend this activity to anyone visiting Asakusa or Japan in general. If the place still exists when i have kids i will definitely come back!

It was a lot of fun to do. They have 2 basic types of wood. You have to pay extra for the others. You also pay extra if you want something engraved. Definitely worth it. We received good instructions and were even allowed to redo one stick because it failed. When you're done, you varnish the sticks and take them home. You can even take the shavings with you.

Worth participating! It's easy to make, and the finished product is beautiful. However, the wood quality in the basic package is just average, so I recommend paying extra to upgrade to better wood. The staff were also friendly.

Akey was excellent! He started the session with the history of Japanese chopsticks, explained the type of wood, and guided me throughout the experience. Highly recommend! :)
