Hotels in Takayama

Nice, clean hotel in a great location next to the station. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and very helpful! The room was a good size, and I really appreciated having our own washing machine. Breakfast was a little busy/chaotic though.

Located right next to Takayama Station, it's extremely convenient. This time I stayed in a twin room, and the room was very large. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and there was a washing machine, microwave, frying pan, and soup pot. You can buy Hida beef from a nearby supermarket and cook it. There's also a small balcony where you can dry clothes. Next time I come to Takayama, I will definitely stay here again.

In my opinion, the hotel has a good location. Many things are within walking distance. The staff are very friendly. There is a large selection of different foods at the breakfast buffet (mainly Japanese with a few Western items). The onsen bath is the perfect place after a long day.

everything is amazing! it was my first time in takayama and first time to try onsen and this hotel did not disappoint!! i love how convenient the place is! and if you want a private onsen experience this is the place. Our hotel room is clean and has everything you need! what i love is they provide pajama set so you can pack light. i promise to go back!! ❤️

It's very close to Takayama Station, just a 2-minute walk. The staff is friendly, and if you're driving, you can park in the hotel's dedicated parking lot across the street for ¥1000, valid until 10 AM the next morning.

Most amazing ryokan I've stayed in Japan. Private and public onsen areas, beautiful Japanese rooms with own onsen 😍

Loved it and had a great experience! I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Takayama. It's very close to the station. I recommend walking along the railroad tracks from the Nohi Bus Center to avoid the traffic lights and easily reach the hotel. Renting the private onsen in the hotel for 45 minutes for 2000 yen is also a nice option, and they even provide two complimentary bottles of milk. The only minor drawback was that the hairdryer in the private onsen wasn't very powerful; the Salonia hairdryer in the room worked better for my long hair.

Very close to the JR Takayama & Nohi Bus Terminal. There’s a Family Mart below. Facility is a bit old but still clean.

Stayed here before. Great hotel and enjoy the views, service and stunning location. Although not in town there is a reular free shuttle. Taxi is less than Y2000 (AUD 20). Buffet breakfast is available daily for a price. Various restaurant options for the evening- although I would recommend in town dining.
