Hotel a Takayama

Valuterei questo hotel forse 4.5/5. La posizione è a 650 metri dalla stazione di Takayama. Non ci sono edifici di fronte all'hotel, quindi la vista era buona. Il personale è stato disponibile. Location was superb, being right next to the train station, which was why I booked it. The public foot bath on the top floor was also very welcome, especially as I had just come in from Kamikochi. 6 mins walk away is Cafe Rin-Rin, a mom and pop cafe that felt like you were stepping back in time, and served delicious french toast. The room was comfortable and good-sized for a solo traveller, and the washing machine was a godsend. The only thing that was very annoying was the lamp sitting over the small table, as I kept hitting my head on it. It was at a very inconvenient spot and height.

The apartment hotel room has a washer-dryer combo, a kitchen for cooking, and a bathtub. You can also get free hot spring tickets at the front desk to use at a hotel that's a 13-minute walk away. The only downside is that the dryer isn't very effective; clothes were still a bit damp after six hours of drying.

Ho soggiornato qui molte volte. È pulito. Questa volta ho avuto una camera un po' più vecchia, ma è comunque ottima come sempre. La colazione è inclusa e c'è il ramen a tarda notte. Si può usare l'onsen privato senza prenotazione; se il cartello è libero, si può entrare. Quando lo si usa, basta girare il cartello sulla porta della stanza su 'occupato' e, dopo l'uso, girarlo su 'libero'.

The hotel is very good. The room is spacious with a private onsen and separate air conditioning. Parking costs a small fee. There's a welcome drink of beer or orange juice. Breakfast is good and standard. It's quite far from the train station and the city, but it's peaceful.

A slightly dated hotel which only adds to its charm. The staff were absolutely wonderful

There is a free shuttle bus from Takayama Station. The breakfast is truly a work of art. The local vegetables are exceptionally delicious. Since the total amount available is limited per time slot, if you go late, there might not be any food left.

It's not far from the station, with ramen and pizza restaurants nearby. However, please note that the convenience store is located inside the hotel across the street and only operates until 11 PM. The hotel has three private hot spring baths, and the total number of rooms is likely small, around 15.

great relaxing hotel with a nice Japanese atmosphere. we especially liked the kimono dresses to wear around the hotel and in the Onsen. the Onsen experience was cool and very relaxing. Frühstück: exceptional buffet for breakfast and dinner!
