Hotels in Takayama

The hotel is conveniently located next to Takayama Station. You can walk to the Showa-era Takayama Old Town in 10 minutes, and then go to the Miyagawa Morning Market the next day. The rooms are large and well-equipped, and the kitchen supplies and washer/dryer are convenient!

Hotel location: Only a few minutes' walk from Takayama Station/Nohi Bus Center. Cleanliness: Very clean. Service: The lobby staff were always smiling and patiently assisted us. The only drawback: The washing machine cycle was too long (at least 1 hour), and with all 6 machines in use, the waiting time was extremely long. We had to constantly check for an available machine.

The room is very spacious; there's no problem laying out four suitcases, and you can see distant mountains from the window. The large public bath area and sauna smell nice, and there's an outdoor pool. It creates a wonderful atmosphere when it snows. The hotel is also very close to the train station.

great location, walking distance to the old street. family mart right next door too. free parking if you drive.

The hotel is very good. The room is spacious with a private onsen and separate air conditioning. Parking costs a small fee. There's a welcome drink of beer or orange juice. Breakfast is good and standard. It's quite far from the train station and the city, but it's peaceful.

Right next to Train and Bus terminal. 3 minutes walk. Rooms are reasonable size.

This trip was to visit Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, and to revisit Takayama. My previous stay here was quite good, so I specifically booked Takayama Ouan again. They offer ramen as a late-night snack, and the hot springs are also excellent. It was a very pleasant stay.
