Things to do in Furano

We joined a one-day tour with our guide, Emma. She was full of humor, and since there were Japanese, Chinese, and Filipino speakers on the bus, she patiently repeated everything three times. I've included a photo of Emma walking in the snow from behind. Biei Farm was the most enjoyable stop; we rode snowmobiles. I highly recommend getting one per person for a better experience, but the person in front of me was too slow this time, so I didn't get to experience the thrill of speeding up. You absolutely must try the milk and ice cream at Biei; they were delicious! However, be aware that ice cream is not allowed on the bus, and if your tour includes a meal, you might not have enough time to finish your ice cream. The only downside of the one-day tour was that we had to leave Asahiyama Zoo before seeing all the animals. The Ningle Terrace was wet and a bit dirty due to melting snow, and without the lights on, it wasn't very impressive. We should have spent more time at the zoo, haha. If it's not dark yet, you're not interested in creative crafts, and you haven't eaten properly all day, I suggest eating directly at the restaurants near Prince Snow Resort instead of going into Ningle Terrace, as the restaurants close at 3:30 PM.

Lin was my guide and his service was above and beyond! The tour was a great way for you to visit every location at the ease of navigating yourself with Lin providing sufficient information of the location. I enjoyed myself.

Very satisfied with this tour. Our tour guide is Zoe, very helpful. The snowmobile is mandatory and have not cover from the tour fee, so you need to bring some cash. In night most the shop in Ninggle terrace is close, so for the one who want to buy some souvenir need pick earlier hour.

I love this tour. This tour was really fun and enjoyable. We had the chance to visit many beautiful places, each with its own unique charm. It was a wonderful experience and definitely worth it and Lucy is an excellent tour guide who truly stands out for her professionalism and knowledge. She is able to speak multiple languages fluently, which makes communication smooth and comfortable for travelers from different countries. What impressed me the most was how well she explained everything throughout the tour. Her recommendations were very helpful, and she provided clear, interesting, and useful information at every stop. Very beautiful scenery. The tour leader, Rourou, was attentive and gentle, and helped fellow travelers with their needs. The vehicle drove very smoothly on the snow-covered roads. The penguins were very cute, and Shirahige Falls was also very beautiful. I really enjoyed this trip. If friends or family come to Hokkaido next time, I'll bring them on this tour!

Our tour guide, ZHOU ZHENG is nice and accommodating. We had an amazing winter tour around Shikisai no Oka and the beautiful spots of Biei. Shikisai no Oka was absolutely stunning — the vast white landscape felt like a winter wonderland. The snowmobile ride was definitely a highlight! It was such a thrilling and fun experience gliding across the snowy fields. Seeing the iconic Christmas Tree no Ki in person was surreal. Standing alone in the middle of a snow-covered field, it looked straight out of a postcard. Shirahige Falls was breathtaking, especially with the contrast of the blue water against the white snow — truly a magical sight during winter. We ended the tour at Ningle Terrace, which felt like a little overated and most of the shops are closed. We weren’t able to see it at night or during dawn as we only have 30min stay in the area and we arrived 330pm. Overall, the tour was well-organized, scenic, and unforgettable — a perfect winter experience in Hokkaido!

We managed to cover many places. However, I feel we can omit the snow mobile and extent the time at the Zoo. The guide Mr. Hong was very accommodating and friendly. He gave us sufficient time to take precious photo Of the famous tree by the name of Ken & Mary tree and also stopped at R&R to allow us to relief ourselves! In addition, he also sent us messages on the meet up time and map of the places that we were visiting so we could fully made good use of our limited time in each attractions!

A must-buy before your ski session! Purchasing the lift tickets through this platform was one of the best decisions I made.
