What to expect
[Roller Coaster Road]
This road was a filming location for the movie "If You Are the One" and is famous for its extreme elevation changes and straight stretches, making driving here as thrilling as riding a roller coaster. The open farmland scenery and magnificent mountains on both sides are visible at a glance.
[Blue Pond]
Due to natural minerals such as aluminum hydroxide in the pond water, it exhibits different colors under varying sunlight, earning it the reputation of Japan's "Little Jiuzhaigou."
[Lunch Restaurant]
You can choose the most suitable dining combination based on different plan contents.
If you choose the buffet + cantaloupe plan, there is a time limit: 30 minutes for the buffet + 20 minutes for cantaloupe.
A Buffet 30 minutes + Cantaloupe 20 minutes
C Buffet 50 minutes (Cantaloupe may not be available for on-site purchase)
D No meal, no cantaloupe. You can choose to arrange your own meal. (Cantaloupe cannot be purchased on-site)
Buffet lunch can be added on the day, 2200 JPY per person. For guests who choose this package,
The restaurant may be arranged at Herb Hill Furano, which does not have cantaloupe, so it cannot be purchased on-site. Please understand.
[Shikisai no Oka (Panoramic Flower Gardens)]
15 hectares of vast and beautiful flower fields, with over 30 kinds of flowers blooming in vibrant colors on the rolling hills (flowering conditions vary with the climate each year; please understand if the flower sea does not achieve the pictured effect due to force majeure).
[Shikisai no Oka | Flower Season Reference]
Late April to May: Tulips, Rapeseed flowers
June: Lupines, Poppies, Marigolds
July: Lavender, Sunflowers, Sage
August: Sunflowers, Zinnia, Cosmos
September to October: Cosmos, Autumn flowers, and Hillside scenery
*Flower conditions will vary depending on the climate and blooming situation of the year. The actual landscape is subject to on-site conditions.
[Farm Tomita] (Summer Limited)
Ascend to the top of Farm Tomita’s flower fields, where you can overlook the Furano Basin and the Tokachidake mountain range from the lavender-filled fields. October 30th - November 30th: Due to poor flowering conditions at Farm Tomita, the added attraction will be Shirahige Waterfall.
[Shirahige Waterfall] (Autumn Limited 10/30~11/30)
In autumn, Shirahige Waterfall is surrounded by red leaves and golden forests. The waterfall cascades from between the rocks, creating a stark contrast with the clear blue stream, showcasing a unique autumn spectacle limited to Hokkaido.1

Reviews
The trip turned up to be surprisingly enjoyable despite we were too early for lots of flowers . The Blue Pond was spectacular despite the drizzly weather. Trip to Shikisai No Oka was truly eye opening and we truly immersed ourselves under the cool summer day. Farm Tomita never disappoints us with the chance to taste the ice cream and melon with the beautiful flower views. lastly must comment the guide Yan who patiently explained all the places of interest in English, Chinese and Japanese.
Walking into Furano Tomita Farm, you will see a gentle purple ocean. Lavender sways gently in the breeze, and the air is filled with elegant fragrance, as if even breathing is healed. Walking slowly along the flower fields, sage, marigolds, and cosmos bloom one after another, and the colors are interwoven into a gorgeous picture. The Tokachi Mountains in the distance quietly guard this sea of flowers. Under the blue sky and white clouds, everything seems so peaceful and magnificent. Standing on a high platform overlooking the entire farm, there is only admiration and emotion in my heart. Tomita Farm is not only a visual feast, but also more like a warm summer poem, which makes people want to keep this beauty in their hearts and be reluctant to leave for a long time.
i'm so happy joining this tour. Though flowers on some destinations are limited, our tour guide Mr. Gilbert Chin, made this trip an enjoyable one. He is always energetic in providing us information about Hokkaido, details of each activity, & even recommendations on other best places & food in Sapporo which I really appreciated. He is truly doing his job well. I can say that he 1 of the best tour guides I've been with. Thank you so much Mr. Gilbert to your kindness & energy throughout our trip.
Tour was great, weather was nice and cool. Danny had a little bit of trouble with english, but not a problem. Shikisai no Oka had beautiful tulips (and alpacas) to look at. Buffet was alright. Farm tomita does have some lavenders in the small greenhouse during this season too!
Highly recommended to book this tour! Our tour guide Ms. Catherine Lee is very insightful and helpful as well as our bus driver Susuka-san. We were able to enjoy Furano, Biei, and Ningle Terrace! I will definitely book again this trip when back in Hokkaido --- 5/5 stars 😊
I recommend this day trip from Sapporo, it is very well organised, we got to see some beautiful places that otherwise would have been difficult to get to by train. Our guide Joe was very helpful, he explained a lot of things about the places we were going to, but also about Japan and Japanese people. We had a very good time, it wasn't a tiring trip, we had time to relax and enjoy the scenery and sweets. I recommend the ice-cream at the blue pond and the lavender ice-cream at farm tomita. When you book the activity, there is the option to choose the buffet lunch which we did and it was good, had a lot of variety. If you don't want to do it, the first stop of the trip is a bathroom break at a place that has a combi store and a lot of options, and then there are food options at the other stops (for example, at the biei blue pond, besides ice-cream, we also ate a delicious blue pork bun which i recommend). If you want a day trip from Sapporo this could be a very good option.
I'd like to send my gratitude to Joe, our guide and the bus driver 5770 (whose name I didn't catch). Thanks to them the tour went nicely and smoothly and I enjoyed my time in Furano. Joe was very nice, friendly, kind and patient. During the tour he shared some valuable information like what kind of food should we try, which ice cream worth to buy, what should we buy at Farm Tomita (melon bread was indeed very tasty), and etc. He also gave detailed explanation about Hokkaido and Japanese people in general. The bus that we used was comfortable, clean and spacious. We also didn't have a lot of participants that day just 25-30 people. The lunch buffet at herb garden was an okay. It wasn't outstanding or anything but enough to fill your stomach for the but melon was recommended though, as it was very juicy and sweet. Not to mention the cheapest too. Overall, everything was good except for the weather, it was raining lightly all day, starting from the first stop Blue Pond till Shikisai no Oka. It finally stopped when we reached Farm Tomita but the gloomy weather remained. Still, I'd recommend this tour for everyone who wants to experience Furano hassle-free.

We had an enjoyable day trip to Furano with guide Joe as well as his expert driver. Grateful for lovely weather that day, which helped with the capturing of beautiful memories. The flowers were still in bloom for the flower field and we got to try delicious melon and lavender soft serve, as well corn. We enjoyed the itinerary planned as well as anecdotes shared by Joe during the bus rides.
I was so lucky to join this trip the next day after arriving in Sapporo. The tour guide Katherine Lee was very attentive and considerate. We arrived at the meeting point at Datong Subway Station at 8:10, and she was already waiting for us. The explanations along the way were very detailed and vivid, and I also shared a lot of delicious and fun places. I learned a lot of details about Japan that I usually don’t know. She would also remind us which toilets are easier to use, the order in which to get food from the lunch buffet, and help us light the fire in the small iron pot during lunch, which was so touching. My language skills are also very strong, and I can switch between Mandarin, English and Cantonese at any time. The driver, Mr. Shanfang, drove smoothly👍🏼👍🏼My mother and I were very satisfied with this trip and had a great time! I will recommend friends who come to Hokkaido to participate in this trip. I hope to have the opportunity to see Hokkaido in winter next time.
