What to expect
Special Notes on Flower Viewing Plant growth is affected by natural weather, and the blooming period varies each year. April to May is early spring in Hokkaido, and the flowers in the garden may not be fully open yet. We will ensure that we take you to all the attractions mentioned in the itinerary, but we cannot guarantee the real-time density of flowers. Thank you for your understanding and tolerance; let’s experience the vitality of early spring in Hokkaido together.
- Please note that there are two departure times for the flower viewing route: 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
- Summer Romantic Flower Sea Tour (The duration of stay at each attraction will be adjusted according to the day’s situation) Departing from Sapporo, easily explore the most representative natural scenery of Furano and Biei in one day. The itinerary covers classic Hokkaido flower field landscapes and popular photography landmarks, including Farm Tomita, Shikisai no Oka, Biei Blue Pond, and Shirogane Falls, allowing you to experience the vastness of Hokkaido’s land and the charm of its seasonal changes all at once. Along the way, you can also enjoy the unique pastoral scenery of the Biei Hills. Whether it’s a sea of flowers, a blue lake, or magnificent rural scenery, it’s perfect for taking photos. The entire trip includes comfortable transportation and reasonable stopover times, making it a classic one-day itinerary to experience the natural beauty of Hokkaido.
Winter Romantic Illumination Tour Avoid the peak crowds and quietly enjoy the light and tranquility of Furano all to yourself. Depart leisurely from Sapporo. After a 2.5-hour drive, arrive at Herb Garden Furano for a short break, where the herb greenhouse and snow scenery greet you. Then head to Shikisai no Oka to admire Hokkaido’s snow scenery, with layered snow slopes spreading out in winter’s soft white. You can get up close with Hokkaido’s powder snow and choose to experience the speed and excitement of snowmobiling (at your own expense). At dusk, visit the Christmas Tree and enjoy the sunset with the loneliest tree. As night falls, step into the “Light of Furano”: Shirogane Blue Pond is serene and dreamlike under the ethereal blue lights, Shirohige Falls’ silver cascade is outlined with a cool, three-dimensional feel by the lights, and experience a fairy tale world in the warm lights of the Ningle Terrace cabins. Along the way, encounter a different Furano amidst the tranquility and light. The order of the day’s itinerary will be flexibly adjusted based on road conditions, weather, etc. Please understand that due to weather, traffic, or other force majeure factors, we may make corresponding adjustments to the itinerary, and the number of attractions may also be reduced. The small group tour includes a Chinese driver-guide and self-guided sightseeing. It supports pick-up from meeting points or hotels, making the itinerary more flexible. Due to language service limitations, Japanese and English can only provide pick-up/drop-off time prompts and corresponding explanations of attraction names; full Japanese/English guided tours or in-depth explanations are not provided. Thank you for your understanding.

Leo is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and direct to the point. He is very fluent in 3 languages and give directions in all three so no one is left behind. Can you believe that we actually left on time in all stops? Whenever we passed him after getting off the bus, he swtiches to english and remind us about the instructions and switch to another language when another tourist passes him by. He is excellent! We also got to our destinations before everyone elses. He also offered assistance and explanations when needed. very happy with this tour! We recommend Leo very much!
This tour made seeing the best of Furano and Biei so easy. Farm Tomita and Shikisai no Oka were both gorgeous, the Blue Pond was surreal in person, and the waterfall stop was a nice surprise. Our guide Grace was awesome, so enthusiastic and made the day even better. Highly recommend! 🩷
we had an awesome time with Grace for this trip and everything is well planned and at a good leisure pace. Perfect for us after our Mount Fuji climb where we needed a less walking and relax visits to all the major attractions in Furano. What really impressed me is how Grace’s ability to give a well explanation in both English and Mandarin for all locations. This made all our visits more fruitful. Thank you!!
Our Furano and Biei day trip experience was absolutely perfect! A special shout-out to our tour guide, Leo! The entire day's itinerary was meticulously planned. Even though there were many attractions, Leo managed the time exceptionally well, allowing us ample time to take photos and admire the flower fields at Farm Tomita and Shikisai no Oka. Throughout the trip, Leo was incredibly humorous and attentive, proactively helping us take many beautiful group photos and sharing fascinating local history and stories about Hokkaido. The final stop, the Ningle Terrace light-up, was truly beautiful, and Leo thoughtfully reminded everyone that the wind by the sea/mountains can be strong at night, so it's important to stay warm. Leo's company made this journey full of laughter, and it's definitely a five-star recommendation! Next time we visit Hokkaido, we'll definitely book a tour with Leo again!
We had an amazing experience on this one-day tour! Everything was well organized, ran perfectly on time, and allowed us to visit some of Hokkaido's most beautiful places that would have been difficult to reach by public transportation. A special thank you to our tour guide, Leo. He shared the history and stories behind each destination in great detail, and his passion, kindness, and dedication made the trip even more enjoyable. You could really tell that he cared about giving everyone the best possible experience. This tour was absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Hokkaido. Thank you, Leo, for making our day so memorable!
This was a super well organized tour! Of all of the tours I considered, this was one of the only ones that covered every major place I wanted to see in Furano/Biei. We were able to explore all of the key spots and had enough time to enjoy them all. Leo was a great guide and gave a lot of fun and insightful information about the places we were going. If you are traveling Hokkaido without a car and want to still be able to see the beautiful fields and mountains in Furano, I would highly recommend this tour!
We had a wonderful experience on this tour! The itinerary was well organized, and we had enough time to enjoy each destination. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained the history and culture of Hokkaido in an interesting and easy-to-understand way. He was also very attentive, caring, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and on time. The transportation was smooth and comfortable throughout the day. Overall, it was great value for money, and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hokkaido!
leo as guide is very nice.. have a good knowledge on japan, and the history of japan and the story of destination... also can recommend good food for us.. every place is good. weather is good... time very relax not in hurry... also he give us all a bottle of water and a souvenir for us..
Duration of the tour was just perfect to cover all the places for this itinerary, definitely recommended since these locations are difficult to get to without a car. Leo was our guide and he's super friendly and helpful, with good recommendations on what to eat and buy in each locations. We had a good time in Furano through this guided tour!
Thank you for signing up for this tour. It was meaningful to me because I love purple and blue, and I've always wanted to visit the Biei and Furano area. However, when I researched it, I found that transportation between attractions was inconvenient, often requiring transfers and walking. So, I booked a one-day tour, which turned out to be a wise decision. It allowed me to see many beautiful sights in my lifetime. Mark, our guide, diligently explained the unique features of each attraction to all the tourists, switching between Chinese and English. Sometimes, he would even type out explanations specifically for certain travelers. Mark's time management for each attraction was perfect; otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to visit so many places today. My only regret is that Shikisai-no-Oka wasn't in full bloom yet. I suggest waiting until July for an even more beautiful experience. The Ningle Terrace mostly features handmade craft shops where the owners create their own items. If we had more time, I would have loved to browse the works slowly. As you can see in the pictures, it's beautifully green in the summer, and Mark told me it's even more stunning in the winter. Well, I'll have to come back in the winter if I get the chance!

Summer Flower Viewing Tour | Warm Reminders About the Flowering Period Hokkaido’s flower season is greatly affected by the climate each year. From April to mid-May, most flowers (such as lavender, tulips, etc.) are in their growth period and have not yet entered full bloom. The landscape may mainly consist of natural green plants and some early spring flowers. Please understand this natural situation before booking. The itinerary will proceed as usual, and complaints or refund requests based on “unsatisfactory flowering” will not be accepted. The flower field scenic area is mostly for outdoor viewing, and some areas require walking. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. The blooming time of flowers will vary due to changes in weather and temperature. The actual flower conditions are subject to the situation on the day. The temperature difference between morning and evening in summer may be slightly large. It is recommended to bring a light jacket to add or remove as needed. To protect the flower field environment, please do not enter unopen areas or step on the flower fields. There are many tourists during the flower viewing season, and popular attractions may require queuing or a short wait. Your understanding is appreciated.
