Reviews
Everything was excellent and punctual. Our guide, Mr. Joe, was welcoming and attentive, providing great explanations and recommendations. The melon was sweet and delicious, and the view of the flower fields was spectacular. We were also very lucky to have good weather with no rain.
This tour was structured so well - the timing at each stop was perfect, allowing us to enjoy Blue Pond, Farm Tomita, Shikisai no Oka, and Ningle Terrace without feeling rushed or getting caught in heavy crowds. We witnessed first hand how the line for the ladies at the service area got extremely long just 10 minutes after we arrived! Would also like to give a shout out to our guide, Joe! He was incredibly professional and seamless with his delivery, effortlessly speaking across four languages (Mandarin, English, Cantonese, and Japanese) so every single person on the bus felt included and informed. Highly recommend this day trip!
Overall, the entire trip was a great experience! Our guide, Joe, took excellent care of everyone, and throughout the tour, he provided lots of information about Hokkaido's geography and related knowledge. The Four Seasons Hill snowmobile (at your own expense) is very worthwhile! The weather that day was superb! The ride was accompanied by beautiful scenery, and people from Taiwan will truly be immersed in this snowy world! Joe also proactively helped everyone take pictures, allowing everyone to create wonderful memories. The White Beard Waterfall was unbelievably beautiful, with the turquoise water visible to the naked eye, paired with stunning mountain scenery! The seafood for lunch was very fresh, overall very delicious, and we were very full! We were very lucky that the Fairy Terrace was open that day. It's right next to a ski resort, so there were quite a few tourists, but it was less crowded if you walked a bit further in, making it easier to take photos. The entire trip was very enjoyable. There were two groups that happened to cancel that day, so Joe also reminded everyone that they could sit comfortably. It's a very worthwhile day trip!
Our guide, Joe was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the day moving smoothly. The bus was comfortable, and the highlight was definitely blue pond, farm tomita. Plenty of time to explore at our own pace—highly recommend!"
Our tour guide, Joe, was excellent. He's from Hong Kong and is multilingual. He explained the itinerary in great detail and also provided a simple introduction. This time, there were fewer participants, so we were in a smaller vehicle, but it was still comfortable. The itinerary was very well-planned. The best part was that there was no designated meal time, so we were able to return to the city center earlier, around 5 or 6 PM. We were also provided with half a cantaloupe per person, and there were various snacks available for purchase at the attractions. Although we went in early September and missed the lavender, there were still many other types of flowers to see.
Hokkaido is vast, and many areas are inconvenient to access without a car. So, I saw many people recommending day tours. Klook had excellent reviews, so I found a day tour package that suited me and that I really liked. The night before the tour, our guide, Joe, sent a message with the meeting time and location (including clear and easy-to-understand diagrams), which was a great start as it made everything very clear for the group. On the day of departure, the guide also checked in with group members to see where they were. The moment I met the guide, I felt happy; he seemed like a great guide 👍. After getting on the bus, I realized it was a small group of 9 people (travelers from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the US). The advantage of a small group is that the guide can attend to each member, and activity times are easier to coordinate. The guide was lively, cheerful, and meticulously introduced each stop on our itinerary throughout the day. He was also very professional and skilled, switching between three languages to translate so that every group member could understand. We could ask any questions, and the guide would answer them. What was particularly great about Joe was that he knew we were all independent travelers combining our trips with a day tour. In addition to the day's itinerary, he also shared many other recommended Hokkaido attractions, shopping spots, and delicious food as a local. He also introduced us to other day tour options. Whether during the minibus ride or throughout the tour, the guide was very attentive and caring towards each of us. The driver also worked hard to take us to so many places. Even though it was just a short one-day tour, they put in their best effort to ensure we had a wonderful journey. This exclusive summer Hokkaido day tour, with its cantaloupe, lavender, flower fields, Aoi Pond, and forests, truly created beautiful and worthwhile memories.
This is the best day trip I've ever been on. Our tour guide, Joe, was very professional and introduced many Japanese seasonal tourist attractions and foods. He was also amazing at switching between English, Chinese, and Cantonese. There were less than 10 people in our group, but we got a tour bus. They didn't switch to a smaller bus just because there were fewer people, which was great. Also, because there were so few people, our tour guide Joe was able to help us take pictures and didn't neglect me just because I was traveling alone. He really took care of solo travelers. I also didn't expect that meals were included. Very few day trips include meals (requires purchase). The set meal we had for lunch was also very delicious. The tour guide also reminded us to be careful when walking, and it was okay even if we were a few minutes late. They really took care of us and made my day a pleasant one!
Thank you to our tour guide Joe and the bus driver, for the fun and relaxing tour. Highly recommended! Thumbs up for preparing a muslim friendly seafood lunch. The hot meal was a life saver in the freezing weather. The stop at Shikisai-no-oka for snow mobile and snow raft was a lot of fun! Shirahige Falls was beautiful too! We enjoyed the tour very much and wish all the best for Joe and his team at JC Group!
was great! the guide was very helpful — amazed at how many languages he spoke tbh 🥹the guide was also very savvy with the time — we were always 15 mins ahead of the crowd in each place (got to take nice pics)… such beautiful places we went to! I do think the snow mobile’s price was daylight robbery but thats not the tour’s fault lol … also the lunch, I would’ve preferred the buffet (maybe an option shouldve been offered, even for an extra fee) hehehe … other than that, it was such a nice trip 🌻
We had a great time.❄️🤗 Thank you so much to Mr. Joe for being so kind and for making sure that everyone is safe and comfortable. All instructions were clearly given by Mr. Joe and his good time management was the key that we were able to visit the places. The snowmobile experience was also fun! Thank you once again, Mr Joe and to our driver 🫶🤗

- Health and Comfort: If you have motion sickness experience, it is recommended to take motion sickness medication in advance to avoid affecting your travel experience. Winter temperatures are low, so please wear warm, non-slip shoes.
